I worked for Asurion and they are a bunch of crooks. Charging people to reload a factory image on their device. I used to do it for free anyway and give away back glasses with screen repairs.

I worked at a retail phone store and say this with lots of passion, fuck asurion. If you have phone insurance through a certain carrier fond of the color red, check if you can bump it down from a $17 dollar option to a $7.25 option. You鈥檒l lose a couple useless perks but keep the insurance.
I鈥檒l also say fuck Asurion. They seemingly bricked my phone during a routine repair. Obviously they came up with a flimsy excuse for why it wasn鈥檛 their fault, but regardless I ended up walking out with a paperweight instead of a screen damaged but otherwise fully functional device. Would鈥檝e been better off not seeking their service.
Got my iPhone 8 display replaced at a Ubreakifix and it came back with the Photos app open so not trusting them again.
Aftermarket display couldn鈥檛 keep up with my typing speed either and kept dropping letters.
Wish parts availability was better.
