Guys, I’m trying to find the best place to post/share videos from. Imgur and 9gag work, but it’s a little difficult to find the actual video on a Lemmy post. You either have to click on the name or on the hyperlink in the post’s signature. Yet, those website work best on the Jerboa app.

Youtube works the best on desktop because you don’t have to leave the post page, but its Youtube. And on mobile you’d have to open the Youtube app. Would it be easier to just put a link in the post body?

I haven’t really tried federated sites like PeerTube because I couldn’t find an instance to post on. I would spin up my own, but I’d imagine it’d get quite costly after a while. Any Ideas?
