They seem to be made by different people, but look very similar, and have the same comp ai ad at the top of the page.
Does it really need AI generated images?

56!@lemmy.mltoPeertube@lemmy.ml•Should PeerTube potentially have a dedicated “Kids” app?7·8 months agoI think it might make more sense to have a child friendly instance, that is heavily moderated, and only federates with selected instances. I’m not sure how an automatic filter would be able to reliably block inappropriate content.
56!@lemmy.mlto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why is the colour of sunlight different in every country?1·8 months agoI’ve noticed other photos from my side of the country look similar to my own ones. I assume this is due to the light reflecting off the sea, the angle of the sun, and the cloud cover. The colour of the grass is also duller than many places.
56!@lemmy.mlto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•how would you describe this noise? (music taken out)2·8 months agoit’s 0:04 for me. I’m not sure what noise you’re referring to though.
hmm my clicks don’t seem to be counted. The click network request returns internal server error.
56!@lemmy.mlto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Recommendations for a source code hosting serviceEnglish5·9 months agoThose 3 are all fairly similar. Here are some others I can think of:
- Gitlab: many features, complex, pr workflow.
- Forgejo / Gogs: simpler, github inspired interface, pr workflow.
- Radicle: peer to peer, idk much more…
- Sourcehut: minimal (non-github) interface, very modular, email workflow.
- Cgit / Gitweb / etc.: just a git interface, no specific workflow.
If you’re not using any of the additional features, cgit should be enough. If you’re planning on collaborating with others, probably Forgejo would be better.
You can also use individual components of sourcehut, if you want a git web interface with just issue tracking, ci, or wiki, for example.

56!@lemmy.mlto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What's up with the sudden increase in AI slop?102·9 months agoNo need to block every user from the instance, you can block the entire instance in your account settings.
I assumed it was communication between cats. Mine do it to eachother, usually when they get home. Sometimes they do it to me as well. They also do it if they see something out of the window though.

56!@lemmy.mlto Linux@lemmy.ml•How to undo Firefox changes to the titlebar controls buttons?4·9 months agoFirefox relies on gtk for for those integrated buttons. It’s maybe worth checking that your gtk theme is set to breeze in System Settings > Colours and themes > Application style > GNOME/GTK Application Style (top right …), and that firefox is set to use the system theme.
