RAID 5 ist heutzutage eine ganz schlechte Idee. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit das das rebuild fehlschlägt und alle Daten weg sind ist bei größeren Platten recht hoch. Ein normales NAS für Endanwender hat in der Regel nicht mal ECC-RAM. ZFS ist hier mein Favorit. Und natürlich ein anständiges Backup.

Ich bin mit urbackup sehr zufrieden. Täglich inkrementelles Backup vom appdata und einmal die Woche eine Imagesicherung. Ist kostenlos und läuft auf so ziemlich allem.
