Step 1 is probably to put yourself into situations where it’s socially acceptable to approach you.
Just because it’s not forbidden to post US politics somewhere does not mean you have to flood the place with it.

zxqwas@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How do we reduce toxicity on the Fediverse, and on the wider internet?15·8 hours agoYou’re only in control of yourself. Write thoughtful and positive posts, replies. Up/downvote based on how thoughtful and positive you think posts are.
You don’t have much power but what you have you can use.
zxqwas@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Does anyone actually have a plan after Trump and clean up? Try as he might he's not in there forever. Can we be allies again with old ones while trying to stregthen ties with new one?5·1 day agoUN: USA along with a few other countries have a veto. Anything they don’t like they can say no to and it will not pass. I’m not sure how you think you’d be kicked out.
NATO: has no provision for kicking out a member. The worst you can do and that can be done in return is that when article 5 is invoked US (or other allies) offer 3 copies of the book “the art of the deal” (other allies would offer the US how to win friends and influence people).
Are you old enough to remember the Iraq war in 2003 and the general sentiment among other western countries back then?

zxqwas@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Straight people, would you date a non-binary person?12·1 day agoDate: sure, why not. I don’t want to die curious. But I’m really not into guys so if you come across as one I’ll pass, which makes it seem like I’d be wasting both of ours time by not going for a woman to begin with.

So you’d rather live in the autocratic aggressor in the largest land war in Europe since the end of WW2?

As long as the Jordanian central bank has enough USD in reserve it won’t have any problems keeping it pegged.
Having a high or low valued currency does not matter at all (until you run out of space to put zeros on the bill). Changes in the currency value matter a lot.
Having oil or not makes no difference to if you should have a high or low valued currency either.

The time you spend messing with the spaghetti you save in running back and forth along a strictly one sided bus. But i prefer to keep a pattern of eg 4 belt 2 spaces 4 belt so I can cross it with yellow undergrounds.
Yes, but everyone involved acknowledges the fact that it’s my bed and my pillows. They have the old couch as their bed.
Maybe you’re fake, maybe you’re not. I don’t make the rules others use to label you. I’d use the term 80-90% lesbian if I had to pick one for you.
Anyway I do know is that you’re not the only one who have those preferences, whatever they are labelled as.
For some 20 years VLC has been installed on my computers though streaming has made it less used than before.
Steam: not been enshittified yet. Also one of the great forces behind Linux gaming being more mainstream.
Does the Linux kernel count? It’s been 12 years since I tilted at a faulty network driver on windows 7 and just uninstalled it and did not look back. There has been many different distributions since (now I use arch btw) but the kernel is the same.
