This „punishment“ or rather responsibility would not be something that the average wage earning person has to worry about financially whatsoever. There is however a lot of accumulated wealth, that could be used for much better things than the third luxury Yacht in Monaco. So if this extraordinary luxurious wealth can be traced back to exploitation and slavery, and the government would enforce this money to be used for reparations in forms of community centers, museums, research for those who’s ancestors freedom, cultural heritage and often lives were taken, this would not be a punishment. As a German I think there is good reason to individually act responsibly concerning the crimes of e.g. my great grandfather. It is not my crime, but it’s my responsibility to call it such, to do my best in every day live that something like it will not happen again. Calling that a punishment would be unfair compared to the suffering of the victims and their living relatives.

Ich poste das nur, weil ich manchmal den Eindruck habe, dass rasieren einen echt fertig machen kann, weil es eh eine nachwachsende Ressource ist und manchmal Dysphorie verschlimmert.

Ich denke es ist viel wert sich mit dem eigenen Aussehen anzufreunden, da es ja keine Aussage über die Geschlechtsidentität macht, sondern das auch teils übergestülpte Ideale sind. Gleichzeitig ist Dysphorie ein ernstes Thema und regelmäßig sind HRT und gender affirming surgery eine gesundheitliche Notwendigkeit für viele.

Dennoch, auch wenn androgyn aussehen für viele enbys / agenders das angestrebte Aussehen ist, gibt es da ja glücklicherweise keine Norm.

I think reading the opening text on any book fully gives you a good grasp. Often it’s abbreviated to „in the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war“ All the other lines explain quite well, why humanity would be so inhumane in this scenario and why there can be only war. Basically all factions but especially humans live in different flavors of fascism in 40k. Orks might be a bit of an outlier here. Warhammer is a fun tabletop game and has awesome pc games and books. The lore is (or used to be) very critical and satirical on where humankind might end up in a science denying, fascist dystopia (basically the opposite of Star Trek)

Despite all criticism and satire, Warhammer itself is difficult on misogyny (e.g. only men can be space marines ™ because of genes), toxic masculinity & warrior culture, queer (with some positive exceptions) and trans topics (again, genes and also demons get mixed up here). Sadly the lore wise intergalactic xenophobia and racism also seems to be an open door to neo-nazis who turn the hobby into their racist fantasy. (Something I didn’t grasp but quickly realized looking at some armies of other players on tabletop and them talking).

This seems to be and old hoax / fake news photo. Only one bird survived. They were not poisoned but hit by a vehicle.

Birds do occasionally get ethanol poisoning from frozen/fermented fruits though. Since they are small, the dosage is often lethal.
