The consensus isn’t a dislike of DRM in general but a special hatred of Denuvo. Denuvo is especially bad because of how much a performance hog it is. The idea that it’s protection will be circumvented eventually but the people who bought copies will have worse performance is the frustrating part. Additionally, Linux users who change their proton version can be slapped with lock outs(usually temp) on games they purchased with no recourse.

ICE belongs to America not the other way around. Right now it’s being used as a tool of intimidation by our executive branch. The people who are members of ICE all claim the US as their state of residence/origin. It is irrational that they destroy what is their home.

Imagine knowing what we do now about DDT and defending it’s use. I encourage you to read up on DDT resistance. Silent spring caused a lot of people to over-react and the culture it spawned created other issues but look at the levels of PFAS in our water supplies worldwide. We learned nothing.

Edit: In case it’s not obvious, I didn’t read the article before commenting. I saw the image and was unhappy with how it made me feel so I didn’t read the article at that time. If you read the article the context is this is dehorning to reduce the incidence of poaching. Still the image is distressing if you don’t have the context.
