Hyperiflation erases debt. I imagine a lot of powerless people would welcome it.

piskertariot@lemmy.worldtoDigg@lemmy.zip•Digg’s open beta shuts down after just two months, blaming AI bot spam31·27 days agoAs someone who was in groundbreakers, and in the Beta: Good.
It offered literally nothing new. The only voices making comments and getting involved with the community were adgitators and provacateurs, and it quickly spiraled. They claim bots, but they had real trouble wrangling the community, and most people were lurkers, even in the groundbreakers age.
The social contract with web content is broken. People aren’t going to provide comments and content if it’s just going to be scraped by Ai and fed back to us. That leaves only those who don’t think about their words, who are most likely to share them.
Americans are all sitting at home on their phone, waiting for someone else to do something about it.
The revolution will not be live-streamed.
Game is fun.
Game supports upto 4 people.
Game does not require a community.
The reddit community around the game has been toxic as long as the game has existed. They bitch and moan and complain about every little aspect of the game, that barely impacts the game. I’ve enjoyed the game a lot more since I left the community.

If you’re going to include the opinions of people who can’t even win their own seat from countries who are across an ocean from Iran, there are plenty of others who are relevant.

Time scales make numbers seem bigger than they are. Go after Danielle Smith for something realstic. This is just shitty outrage journalism.

There’s nothing panicked here. A realistic, actual meaty headline would be “Trump tells Canada that China will restrict Ice Hockey, when asked about British trade with China”
This headline tells the facts, without dipping into outrage politics.

They’re doing the same thing in Alberta. The “Forever Canada” petition showed that people sitting on street-corners could gather 400k signatures to stay in Canada.
A well funded Maga Movement is renting out stadiums for a counter petition. I expect they’ll get less than 100k signatures.

I was gifted the collector set, and I feel guilty because I don’t use them. They’re cute and small, and I need more tea than that. But to get them for a couple bucks is awesome. You could probably even get someone to 3d-print appropriate coloured handles for you.

It’s Half-Life 3 for anyone who bought into VR, and it’s one of the best and most immersive games you’ll ever play. In fact, I’m hoping that it gets its due with the new Steam equipment.
I highly recommend looking into the Goldeneye Mod if you wanted to juice a little more playtime in the system. The facility map is :chefs-kiss:.

It’s 2026. I can hang out with my friends on the internet and have a lot of fun. My friends don’t even need to be in the same room as me.
