The dev is going to do whatever the dev is going to do. If it works, it works and I don’t see much of a problem with it similarly to how I don’t have much of a problem using code from StackExchange.
I run into issues with using gen AI to sidestep learning or creativity. I just thought Lutris was hard to use because I’m pretty new to Linux.
There hasn’t been anything I haven’t been able to run between Heroic and Steam. I didn’t like using lutris anyway. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also picked up an Arduino kit and started tinkering, but I’m more interested in circuitry and not coding. My 6-year-old wants to build his own Moog synth because he’s obsessed with Daft Punk and I gotta support that.
I hate that LLMs have fucked my ability to find decent documentation. The Internet is done for. I’m learning to garden and do basic electronics from text books now.

Ours were just replaced in our rental house. They were last replaced in 2004 and our corpo landlord just doesn’t give a fuck.

Worked 99% of the time, unless someone just wanted to argue. In that case, they just got refunded and asked to leave. Our store was almost all regulars and we didn’t have a drive-through, so we didn’t have to deal with this shit much.
My mastiffs are angels but I’d never take them into a restaurant or store; I barely let strangers come close to us while where walking. They’re pretty anxious and very protective. If someone fucks with the dogs and gets bit, they’re either dead or losing a limb and my good boys aren’t going to be held at fault for some dumbass’ behavior.

Same. I used a different android device the other day that still had gboard on it and the swype felt so much better. Still won’t go back.
I’ve been using FUTO for a few months now and the Swype and autocorrect are fucking horrible. Still using it because fuck Google I guess, but man I wish it were better.

I’ve had conversations with my wife about something along these lines. There’s a ton of overlap in comedy, politics, and morals. I’m pretty sure I’d get along perfectly fine with anyone that liked I Think You Should Leave or listens to stuff like Cumtown.
