You could create a feature issue in the official Lemmy GitHub (https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues) which, if implemented, would get your feature into the officially maintained Lemmy. Then, you’d have to convince third party apps to adopt it too.

Many instances have manual user verification for new users. I’m assuming that helps.

kia@lemmy.cato Boost for Lemmy@lemmy.world•Actually getting ready to abandon this appEnglish9·4 months agoI mean, just from a quick scan of the community, you’ve made one post pointing out a bug and the dev responded, but you didn’t do much to describe if/why his posted solution didn’t work for you.

TH16. A lot of the time it comes down to the chance of getting more defences. I’ve missed a promotion because I got one or two less defences than the people above me.
It takes too long to climb. You can get 100% on all your attacks and still not advance to the next stage.

If you’ve used something like AppArmor, you’ll see how SELinux is overly complex.

But she is not!English4·1 year agoI’m still not ruling out that she could just be pretending to be anti-Lumon to get Mark to trust her and get her old job back. Lumon isn’t happy with Milkshake, so who is going to run the severed floor after they fire him too (assuming it still exists)?

kia@lemmy.cato Android@lemmy.world•What's the state of Android browsers? Want to move away from Samsung InternetEnglish262·1 year agoNo idea what you’re talking about as I’ve had none of these issues. Also Firefox on iOS isn’t actually Firefox, it’s just another reskined webkit browser.
I’m assuming this is on iOS, because the Android version always did this.

Because if not, your data would be lost if your main instance goes down anyway. What’s the point of the other accounts?
