So if this is why the Democrat candidate failed then the next candidate they put up won’t support Israel since the Democrats will learn from their mistakes? I would like that, but I don’t think it will happen. I think the new candidate will be the same as the old candidate and the Dem’s will have learned nothing. Pro-business, pro-Israel, soft on regulations, soft on Republican lawbreaking, and corrupt as hell.

They should be taxed at 100% of wealth that is hidden in offshore accounts. Tax dodgers shouldn’t get to keep half of their ill-gotten gains. If someone steals a candy bar from Walmart they don’t get to keep half the candy bar.

Edit to add: My friends wouldn’t serve me cake that isn’t moist enough to cling to a fork. There are some assumptions that might be specific to my particular friend group. If your friend group delivers you dry cake you might need better friends.

I don’t normally eat cake, but when I do it is a fork. If it were pie I would do a fork for apple, but a spoon for blackberry and cherry. If someone offered me a pie that wasn’t blackberry or cherry I would re-evaluate my friendship with them.

I live in a rural area and I regularly talk to people on my walk. For me they are strangers but apparently I talk to a lot the them regularly. I don’t remember faces/names easily so often they address me like a friend and I am clueless.

A billionaire is a mentally broken hoarder. They don’t collect every newspaper and urine sample but something more dangerous. They collect resources, more than any person could use without disgusting amounts of waste. Those collections come at the detriment to all human existence and should be viewed as a mental disease. We need to bring back sanitariums to hold these broken and diseased people so that they cannot continue to harm society.

That is not how it is done. It is the police chief saying, “We investigated ourselves and (found no wrongdoing)/(everything was within policy).” Occasionally it will be a prosecutor saying something along the lines of, “There isn’t enough evidence to get a guilty verdict so we are not going to pursue this.” If it gets past both of these the judge will dismiss the case for some random excuse or they do a bench trial where instead of a jury the judge just decides the cop is innocent. Very rarely it will make it to a jury trial and the cop will lie his ass off and never get charged for perjury.

Hypothetically, yes there are justified shootings. Deciding if a shooting is justified should be done by a jury though, not an internal investigation. All lethal use of force cases should be prosecuted and guilt/innocence should be decided by a jury. The use of lethal force justification being decided by a judge/prosecutor/police is short-cutting the legal standard that any other victim would see their perpetrator held to and is therefore a 14th amendment violation.

All the police have is unsubstantiated claims from a 911 call. Thinking that is enough for lethal force is why SWATing happens. Fake 911 calls about serious crimes trying to get the police to show up and murder people. The job of the police is not to determine guilt or innocence, nor do they punish, those are for the judicial branch.

Not to be “that guy” but for me it really depends on who is choking. Some people I could see choking and my response would be to calmly finish my meal and in my head hope that they expire before I lose my appetite due to their horrible death rattle.
