It’s a coordination problem; your child is greatly disadvantaged in many ways by being the only one without a phone. So it needs everyone to fix the problem simultaneously; this isn’t really practical without a gov’t intervention.

Uh I think the opinion of police was pretty similar. I remember seeing ACAB quite frequently then.

You need to have a comparison against the wider population when you show stats like this. Maybe that’s more than usual? When you say “22% of developers are women,” it’s clear that there are fewer women than the population in general. But we don’t need 50% of game developers being trans. (I mean, that might be fun to see but…)

I mean yeah, that’s true. Why waste energy harassing developers of libre software for using AI? That’s not going to have any impact on big tech.
