I can link you multiple French article that explain it was developed by the DINUM. Please research a little bit before posting, looking for skills on LinkedIn means nothing. Also the French entrepreneurs that usually get contracts for this were very angry about it.

Moi j’utilise les deux premiers, CoMaps pour un truc simple, OsmAnd pour le reste.

And the product made by the DINUM (Tchap, France Connect …) are still in use.

A lot of changes were made to Signal since and we don’t know how WhatsApp protocol evolved. You can’t assume they’re still equivalent now. And one is open source with reproducible builds while the other is not.

(2026-01-22)Français2·3 months agoVérifie bien que c’est l’IP du pi-hole qui est utilisé comme serveur DNS, tous les navigateurs et tous les OS n’utilisent pas forcément celui donné par DHCP.

T’as bien réglé ton PC/portable pour utiliser le DNS pi-hole ? Sur quels sites est-ce que tu as de la pub ? Parce que le blocage DNS ne peut pas tout bloquer, les pubs youtube par exemple ne sont pas blocable par DNS.

(2026-01-15)Français1·3 months agoBas ta sauvegarde sert justement à récupérer tes données si par erreur tu écrases ta partition windows donc si tu la stock dessus tu la perdra en même temps et elle ne servira a rien.
La sauvegarde normalement c’est 3 copies stockées dans 2 lieux différents.
In most country you don’t risk anything by just visiting the site. But just so you know, while DoH or DoT are very good things for privacy, it’s not enough to prevent your ISP form seeing the site you visit. They can still see the SNI unless the site has setup ECH but it’s very rare.
