!linux@programming.dev is the primary one I contribute too as well as primary for my .ml crossposting
But, where possible, I have identified secondary comms to crosspost to. The sh.itjust.works one is the next largest off-world off-ml linux comm that isn’t programming.dev
I don’t really check for active mods, if it becomes an issue for a comm I usually just request to be made a mod at some point
I’ve never been able to quote and get spoiler to work fully, I think the 2 are just incompatible with each other, best I get is this partial working one where closed it’s quoted and when you open it it goes outside the quote
Yes, but you also sent it to a .ml comm, soo it came here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Some of the more recent crossposts here have been by the artist @SchickeSchickeSchweine@mastodon.gamedev.place, they are on the Fediverse at least so you can DM them on from Lemmy even though they’re on Mastodon
I hope you have lots of fun though on your journey! Hopefully we’ll see some of your work here :)

Me: >No I’m not, just the authoritarian instance of .ml
You: >Ah ha so you admit your banned rabble rabble rabble
Resorted to bad faith arguments in 1 reply LMAO
Yes I’m banned from .ml, that’s what tends to happen when you stand against authoritarians; bans, censorship, jail etc.
cm0002@toast.oooto Fediverse memes@feddit.uk•Single-handedly making Lemmy more enjoyableEnglish6·2 months agoIg you guys have just resorted to pure lying LMAO
None of my accounts have been widely banned and I haven’t made a new account in a long time, just cycling through the same ones on smaller instances lol
cm0002@toast.oooto Fediverse memes@feddit.uk•Single-handedly making Lemmy more enjoyableEnglish211·2 months agoI just crosspost the post from 1 .ml comm to 1 relevant non-.ml comm maintaining the crosspost as best I can so that it collapses (for people with supporting clients at least)
Not really fitting the common definition of “spam”, Users like Chobeat are probably closer to an actual spammer since when they post to the technology -.ml comm I can’t crosspost it anywhere because they literally sent it to just about every “technology” comm on the Threadiverse LMAO
but even then I wouldnt consider it actual spam
I’m also not evading bans, my accounts are not banned anywhere to the best of my knowledge (well except for .ml, but that’s a given lol) and I just rotate through them over and over again. I haven’t made a new one in a long time.
In fact, I’ve recently added a listing of accounts used for this crossposting purpose to the bottom of my megathread here if you wish to block them and I’m updating the bios on each account as I use them to include a similar blurb for people
cm0002@toast.oooto Fediverse memes@feddit.uk•Single-handedly making Lemmy more enjoyableEnglish535·2 months agoAn… appreciation post…that’s a nice change of pace lmao
Thanks! I’ll keep doing what I can! 🫡
Yes, okay, so why include a social credit score in PieFed? One of the main things communist China is critized for. It seems to me like one of the main reasons lemmy was created was to get away from the social credit score/karma idealogy, so why include it in PieFed?
Can you seriously not see the difference between a government implementation of it on its citizens, tied to their real world semi-permanent identities and has the power to arrest, jail or otherwise “make silent” based on said scores…and a social media app tied to pseudo-anonymous user handles as a tool to ease the already thankless burden of volunteer moderation with 0 real-world consequence should you run afoul of it? Or are you just trolling?
Probably trolling considering you’re from the exploding heads-light instance lmao
Are you aware there are shit ton of metric ranking systems out there in the world? Are they all social credit scores? Man hope you don’t find out about how internet routing protocols like BGP decides on routes LMAO
You still can’t talk about the Hannibal Directive to me, huh? Another critique of mine about PieFed. Seems to be an Israel supremacist instance, where you can’t even discuss Israelis own Reichstag fire event that got Jews to support a genocide against a semite population.
Irrelevant to the conversation at hand, we’re talking about the server software at hand, not the namesake instance itself

I still don’t fully understand why PieFed constantly shits on tankies
https://lemmy.world/post/29072279
I mean, you can take your pick of specific reasoning, but it can be boiled down to tankies are authoritarians and simp for regimes that just slap a communist label on their politics but are authoritarian hell scapes e.g. North Korea
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tankie
Tankie is a pejorative label generally applied to authoritarian communists, especially those who support or defend acts of repression by such regimes, their allies, or deny the occurrence of the events thereof.
True true, but that’s just an area of architecture improvement, not some evil master plan LMAO
It’s a switch that’s presented to the admins as they go through the instance setup process. It’s defaulted to on, but it’s not like it’s even hidden in a setting menu somewhere
The Triad has been hemming and hawing about the horrible horrible “anti-commie” (it’s not, just anti-tankie/authoritarian) PieFed the past couple of weeks. Which is what I assume led to this new rule here https://feddit.uk/post/44095278 lol
Ohhhh THATS why the Triad was hating on PF so much lately LMFAO
Lol no no, they had just posted to both the .ml linux comm and !linux@programming.dev
I crosspost content from .ml as part of boycott/protest efforts:
