China winning global capitalism isn’t a good thing, op is simply pointing that the nation accels at it on the global stage. Any nation winning capitalism on the global stage isn’t a good thing.
You’re not alone! I’ll gladly listen to him explain the refrigeration cycle again and again and again and how everything is just a worse heart pump.
Exactly, preaching to anyone ever remotely left of the democrats to vote 3rd party is just begging the only tenuous coalition of progressives to split the voter base and hand the conservatives power for decades to come.
We should be in the comment sections of conservative spaces trying to amplify whatever cracks have formed between segments of their voterbase.
What new wars with direct US involvement started under Biden? What new wars happened under Obama, or Clinton? Or any Democrat that started a war in a foreign nation in the last 50 years. I’m not talking selling surplus outdated weapons to another nation, I’m talking boots on the ground, enlisted military going into another nation and fighting in direct conflict.
Every single time it’s been a Republican dragging us into a forever war with no clear objective, and a Democrat that cleans up the mess and finishes the job.
I’m not saying that the dems are a good political party, they’re still a neoliberal organization that cowtows to corporate interests, and they’re spinless when it comes to wielding power to benefit the rest of the population and standing up to Republicans but they’re not the same thing.
Besides the only “viable” candidate for the Green Party is literally photographed rubbing elbows with Russian Oligarchs and Putin and Libertarians unironically want to remove the age of consent so they can have their child brides.

They’re still buying whatever that Qanon “trump is working with secret agents embedded in the Deep state to dismantle the Clinton pedo ring” nonsense.
blackbelt352@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•'End of MAGA': Trump's attack on Iran sets off revolt among angry supporters181·1 month agoBut… like… literally everyone can agree that pedoshit should always break the camel’s back. Like it’s literally universal across pretty much every demographic that nobody should protect a pedo and even the worst serial killing criminals in prison are still viewed more favorablly than pedos.

I think medicine overall has gotten significantly better that because people aren’t dying nearly as young as they used to are then able to go on to develop cancer they otherwise wouldn’t have, I think that our increasingly sedentary lifestyles are certainly not helpful, I think the constant stresses of daily existence under late stage capitalism is extremely unhealthy, I think the amount of high calorie low nutrition highly processed foods we consume have a huge affect. Also cancer is an extremely large umbrella term for an affliction that comes about in more ways than there are cancers, melanoma comes from prolonged UV exposure, lung and mouth cancer come from a wide array of carcinogens operating on numerous mechanism, like Radon works completely differently from tobacco smoke and diferently from asbestos.
I think there is much stronger evidence for a multitude of other things causing cancer than solely glyphosate.
blackbelt352@lemmy.worldto science@lemmy.world•Six cancers rising faster in younger adults than older ones, study findsEnglish22·2 months agoPFSA… kinda?, glyphosate…maybe…? honestly we’ve done a ton of studies since glyphosate was first created in the 70s there really aren’t any known significant health risks. Personally I’d be more concerned about the environmental problems of herbicides running off and affecting the wider environment.
People usually use tunafish to refer to tuna salad, which is mainly canned tuna, mayonnaise, and a few seasonings, typically served on a sandwich.
It’s a heater to make hot water. As opposed to a space heater, which is a heater used to heat a space and a food heater that is a heater used to heat food to serving temps and a floor heater which is a heater to warm up a floor.
Gas companies raised gas prices.

We should be more outraged at racism than we are about which words a news outlet used to describe the racism.
blackbelt352@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•Trump shares a racist video that depicts the Obamas as primates in a jungle12·2 months agoAll of them when you “umm… ackshually we’re all primates” and ignored the context of literal centuries of white people depicting black people as monkeys to denigrate and dehumanize them.
I’m pretty sure Jamez Hoffmann did a video about that.
Good quality teas don’t need sugar. Asian grocery stores are a great source of higher quality teas that aren’t just the commodity grade tea dust that is in your average lipton tea bag.

Not quite. Mickey Mouse is still a trademark of Disney, but the actual animation of Steamboat Willie is in the public domain, so using the mouse in a way that promotes brand confusion is a no go but using Steamboat Willie is perfectly fine.
