Real cool.
It doesn’t have to be like this. We could use government to actually break up and regulate these gigantic companies.

I can’t find it in archives that say they monitor his truthsocial account. The only place this seems to exist is truthsocialapp.com which seems suspect as various buttons don’t work, etc.

Get your “anticheat” code off my cpu and implement actual security on your servers.

Everyone has seen the way forward, the Japanese automakers put their fingers in their ears and went “na na na na!” for years. Now Korea and China are way ahead.
Conservativism is a disease for any society.

Surely you could decide to go out and be social because you would like to make new friends or be entertained. You’re here, writing out your thoughts, so you’re able to reflect and decide on actions.
andyburke@fedia.ioto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•If you're sexually frustrated & can rarely find a mate & decide to live a life of "nofap," what are the effects that buildup of sexual frustration has?17·14 days agoWhat evidence are you basing the idea that your drive comes from your libido? There are a lot of people out there with low or no libidos who have accomplished a ton.
Why are you focusing on libido as the source of creativity to the exclusion of a lot of other potential drivers?
This is what I am saying: the focus seems odd and creepy without lots of evidence for your reasoning.

You can go out into the world looking for connections that are not sexual.
I’m glad I served. On the trial I was on three young men could have easily seen their lives destroyed because of shitty cops and a shitty prosecutor.
I will never forget having to explain reasonable doubt repeatedly to more than one other juror in deliberations.
Please, don’t skip jury duty.
Yes.
Read up on jury nullification.
While there are no laws for the wealthy, not sure why the rest of us are supposed to be held to them.

Not to mention all the potential cheats that can be done at the input level.
There is no valid client-side approach that is worth the wasted dev time and cpu cycles.
All of that focus should be where you have an actual chance of controlling your execution environment and inputs so you can do anti-cheat on trusted hardware: the server.

No thanks.
Anti-cheat belongs on the vendor’s hardware, not our untrusted client CPUs.

Have there ever been any consequences for false takedown requests you could point me at?
