It’s ironic that they’ve missed out Ireland, throwing some great hunger shade.

Police in the North of Ireland definitely aren’t unarmed

Easily one of the most popular rally cars and belongs in a class of popular classics: eg. Mk2 escorts, evos, classic minis, etc. This is in Ireland at least… don’t know about rest of the world

andresil@lemm.eeto World News@lemmy.world•‘It’s the same daily misery’: Germany’s terrible trains are no joke for a nation built on efficiencyEnglish8·2 years agoAlso thought this when reading the article, multiple times I’ve had entire journies turn into a nightmare because of train not coming, 2/3/more hour late trains, and yeah local transport is a joke sometimes. The worst is the state of some the stations, Bonn is like a fucking drug camp sometimes and it seems that police and transport staff won’t do anything to make it safer or better

I only know the case of how this kind if testing is handled with mice (from my partner, and in germany) and all three of these cases would have been euthanized much earlier, not left to live on for a year or even days. As usual with Musk, he tries to cut corners and it only ends up hurting people and in this case animals unecessarily.
andresil@lemm.eeto World News@lemmy.ml•The Gruesome Story of How Neuralink’s Monkeys Actually Died3·3 years agoThe true MVP of this post
The fact they redacted answers to these questions specifically is even more proof of some kind of cover-up IMO. Absolutely wild they won’t release the full document.

What the fuck is the headline or story gonna do? Stop them investing? Fuck no. Push goverments to legislate against them? Fuck no. The headline should, at this point just be: gov/corps aren’t going to stop investing in fossil fuels, revolution is needed now.
But I suppose that’s too long a headline

A problem with modern society is focusing power and holding up people in power as better or perfect. Thats not very communist or socialist if you ask me, in fact it implies the existence of a ruling class still.

The point is right in front of their face and they still can’t see it (so the my can’t screenshot this comment for a post, the point is that those regimes were authoritarian nightmares to live in as an ordinary person). I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, they’re not tankies they’re idiots who for some reason love any auth regime and then pretend that life there is so good.
And everytime I post some shit like this I have to say at the end, I do not like capitalism or the US (also I’m Irish and I live in Austria currently) I would much rather see a socialist state or proper commune style communism, what they admire is basically horrible shit which should be callef Maoism/Stalism/etc.

Some guy is in prison in iran (the important story) and they’re getting offended about their professionalism being attacked?? What do the want the guy to say? That we’re dispatching seal team six? If the guy wasn’t there on official EU business then of course Swedish government should be the lead?

Very tasteful art. Who is the artist? For academic and art appreciation purposes, of course.
I really hope we see push back against this by other reps, it seems they were definitely getting close to something “they” didn’t want people to know. It would be a shame and blatantly transparent something is up if they were stopped now.
Also isn’t the whole point of an oversight committee to uncover things that’re being hidden, especially if they’re “embarrassing”???
Honestly this whole thing is disgusting to me in a way. As if current European researchers couldn’t do just as good as the US if given the same levels of funding. This is almost certainly a case of “let’s flood the job market and lower how much we have to pay researchers”
