11 months agoRemove insurance. I know I was exaggerating but the bottom line is the poor are hit most and there’s a higher chance they don’t have insurance. Especially if Medicaid gets gutted.

Let’s not pretend that we don’t have this type of thing happen to us. Maybe not beauty products but any time I slip outside of my ad blockers I’m made accurately aware that they’re always listening. It’s not a coincidence the ads you see, the TikToks, and the Facebook ads. It’s just used for adds right now but it should scare the shit out of people.
I learned because I was torrenting and broke the family windows computer. It was either fix it or get grounded.

I used a fake name but what I find insufferable is just that it acts like a person for me. I talk to it like La Forge talking to the Enterprise computer when I’m plotting my tabletop campaigns or writing my session notes. My spelling is really bad so I just dump it on ChatGPT to organize my thoughts. Nicer bullet points and better flow, that kind of stuff.
This fucking thing keeps complimenting my writing and being all familiar with me. I’m like, “You’re a fucking robot. Don’t patronize me! Just print my write-up in a more literate fashion. AND STOP tweaking my plot points!”
I’m not upset. Just…this seems so unnecessarily extra. I’m glad they enjoy their fart-queef I guess?
