I live in Europe and honestly I never heard of anybody having this level of issues with credit card debt. I feel like people here just save, then spend, not the other way around. But perhaps it’s too simplicistic?

Teenagers do this all the time in public transport (usually watching loud videos) and they don’t have any excuses like for example being half deaf or not knowing how to mute their phone. It is one of the reasons why I prefer driving. I don’t want to have an argument with some stupid shit every time I get on the metro.
