  • I’ve been banned so many times over there. And I’m not saying this as if I’ve ever done anything to try to be banned over there. The vast majority of the time when I have been banned it’s been because the moderators of certain subs COMPLETELY misinterpreted what I had been trying to say and banned me and then when I contacted them to try to explain the misunderstanding they’ve refused to accept that there was actually a misunderstanding.

Some VERY popular subs have really bad moderators.

  • I actually manage servers and network services, and am familiar with the importance of five nines uptime. It seems like this kind of an interface is a failure in that it provides quick information to most people but doesn’t include information for people with disabilities. I think it would be beneficial to have that visual interface with color information but to also include information that showed bars of different heights and widths.

I understand that the direct inclusion of all of the numbers could clutter the interface and make it less easy to immediately tell uptime, but even without the numbers it seems that significant improvements could be made to the way this information is presented with this layout.

  • The U.S. Government never passes up an opportunity to declare people to be property.

Children are not property. Children are people.

The exact same logic that adults can speak toward children in ways that are abusive because those adults are legally allowed to speak is exactly the logic that would say that adults can sexually abuse children because those adults are legally allowed to have sex.

No. When your actions have victims, you are violating those victims’ rights.

And that is true REGARDLESS of what this court of “justices” claims.

The people on this court don’t even know what the word “justice” means, and they have no business being called it.

  • The USA is NOT a superpower.

It’s just a country with a big military that is using up its advantages really quickly and is making its citizens hate it.

The most important aspect of a superpower is that its citizens have to be in support of it, or at the very least, the government needs to be stable.

The United States does not have a stable government, and will not for any kind of forseeable future.
