Yup, especially the sliding tackles in rain. Although my favourite Microprose game was Sid Meier’s Pirates! Airborne ranger was good too.

For my own allowance, it might have been a space shooter, Bosconian, on the C64. I must have been 12. The game was pretty bad unfortunately.
I’m not German but would absolutely recommend Babylon Berlin!
Nice! Please walk us through the dishes and drinks?
matte@feddit.nuto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What are some girl names named after flowers in your country?1·3 months agoIn Swedish there is Linnéa. After the Linnaea flower (Linnea in Swedish). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linnaea
There is also Rosa, Viola and Iris but Linnéa is probably more common.

Ja jag tyckte den passade bra i det ruskiga decembermörkret!
That hamburgers were called “handburgers” because you hold them with your hand when you eat.
matte@feddit.nuto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•If libertarian socialists are on the left and anarcho-capitalists are on the right what ideology is in the middle?6·3 months agoIdeologies such as social liberalism and democratic socialism are often regarded as in between extreme left and extreme right positions. There are many other positions of course such as centre-right and various “green” and religiously motivated positions. They could also often fit somewhere in between on a conventional right-left spectrum. This of course varies a lot between countries and political systems.
Very minimalistic routine 2-4 days a week. Alternating between A: squats + chins, and B: deadlift + dumbbell overhead press. 3 sets for everything except deadlift which is 1 set. When I hit 10 reps per set I add weight.
Looks like something I would absolutely love! Beautiful!
Go for the eyes Boo, go for the eyes!

Even if there is a misunderstanding hidden in there somewhere it looks like the kind of question that could produce very informative and interesting answers from someone with knowledge in the field.
Looking good! They are best with coconut flakes like that.

matte@feddit.nuto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What book(s) are you reading right now and recommend for others?2·9 months agoI read them as an adult. What I loved about the second book was the very original setting and perspective that was still completely captivating and felt believable. I don’t think I have ever read anything that is quite comparable. Anyway, maybe I should give the third one another go, I’m on vacation now so maybe a little bit more relaxed and patient!
matte@feddit.nuto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What book(s) are you reading right now and recommend for others?2·9 months agoMy experience was that the first book was fine, say 6,5/10. Just enough to move on to the the second, which I absolutely loved 9,5/10. Started reading the third with high expectations but it just didn’t engage me at all. Didn’t get through more than perhaps 25% of it.
Blood tests. I guess it is understandable from an emotional viewpoint but it is certainly not logical. I also can’t watch scenes in movies where they inject drugs. Eeeeh!!!
