Enterprises don’t do well with onboarding security liabilities, and having stuff like this happen will almost certainly result in prospective customers considering Anthropic’s competitors.

Yeah, it’s the same response I have to seeing it in other places too. Like for example American cars using the “SS” badging for their SuperSpeed variants of popular muscle car models. This goes back to like the sixtees too. Did none of the WW2 vets see an issue with that back then?

What the absolute fuck. This has got to be the most ass-backward way of designing and implementing an inventory tracking system I have ever seen. They put no effort into the thinking behind “How do we replace employees walking the aisles regularly to check?” and went straight to “We need a robot to walk the aisles regularly” instead of any sort of sensible system that uses known shelf locations and sensors, for example. This is just really lazy on both the product designers and the supermarket chains.

And I honestly think that’s what’s at play here - straight guys are into women and will judge their appearance differently from how they judge the appearance of other men.
Perhaps we don’t collectively look like we dress poorly and barely take care of ourselves to women, as they likely look at other aspects of our physical appearance than we do

I can’t deny that I (as a guy) have often wondered what women see in us, because to me the vast majority of men are poorly dressed on top of looking like we don’t take care of ourselves.
The thing I really hate is how this shorthand dismissal of people’s opinions based on their gender identity or sexuality has become normalized on social media. Yes, the joke is funny, but it’s saddening that this has become acceptable behavior as it encourages discrimination in the real world too. It also makes me wonder how we can continue to function as a society without deprogramming individuals that have gotten radicalized by online hate.
That’s so relatable, and I don’t know where that desire for ever expanding housing comes from. And it’s not just the house sizes increasing themselves (and the associated price of housing going up) that’s a problem. Ever growing square footage also directly impact the cost of living for folks as maintenance, repairs, heating, and electricity costs all scale right along with the size of the building.
If we can get folks to accept smaller houses we can tackle the two biggest affordability problems we are dealing with, but nobody seems to want to accept that message.
