Apparently it can be fixed by turning the game while offline, and then turning online ingame, since it’s an issue with Steam servers/overlay. I just played offline the whole time last time I played, but obviously it’s not ideal.

Informing the customer being bad sounds backwards. This could only backfire if the fps prediction is wrong, and I still think for most people this would a positive, I wanted a feature like this.

Like the post said, it’s the opposite. The closest thing is that your cop partner Kim is awesome (not you though), really patient considering the BS he watches you do, and part of the homosexual underground. And you can (sort of) specialise in reading his and the few other cops’ thoughts.

Extra smoothness for a frame of input delay is a good boon for any non-action games that just have cool animation. Or even less hardcore action games. I’m one of the few people who doesn’t want the higher fps for gameplay, I just think 30 -> 60 looks better. On the other hand, I don’t see the 60->120 jump well.

I never used framegen though, because Steam Deck is all I have and didn’t play around much.

Tokyo seems to be bigger than New York and it’s only issue with transit AFAIK is overcrowding, which is also a consequence of other things. My “USA state”-sized country can get me from one end to another in less than a day of trains too.

The issue still doesn’t sound to be size, but awful management over decades. It’s too far gone to easily fix, and it’s not the people’s fault, but it still sounds like something to take the piss out of the country for.

My snarky recommendation of a psychologist was rude itself, so it’s fair. Though meeting those is way easier than a good psychiatrist from my and especially friends’ experiences. I personally seem stable, thank you.

I haven’t had them in a while to be fair, and it was mostly a sideffect of stress elsewhere, like high school. I did however remember middle school, where after a near-death experience I coped for a while by bothering classmates with similiarly overly dramatic sentences like “You don’t know death as I do”, even if they weren’t nearly as well thought out. It may have ended up well, especially if all the philosophizing taught me to cope after that (we’ll see), but clearly meeting a psychiatrist would’ve been safer.

There is no point, you’re correct. The problem is, these kind of rants remind me of my friends who either say they want therapy, or needed therapy (though that was probably more severe? Saying they’d be friends with murderers and all that, which is technically fine in right circumstances, but, who the hell talks like that?), or me on lonely, depressing nights.

We don’t have free will. So what? Even if you’re aware of this, that could make you appreciate the complexities life even more, but the whole thing comes off as pessimistic.
