  • Thank you for taking the time to type this up.

This was a really interesting perspective and I really appreciate your sharing it.

I’m very interested in what you see as the religious factors driving this war: I’ve always thought that the driving factors for this war from the Zionist perspective could be sufficiently explained by settler colonialism and imperialism. There are inarguably christo-fascist fanatics in positions of influence in the US state apparatus, but I haven’t seen any evidence that they have enough power to launch a war that doesn’t make sense for the military industrial complex (whose primary goal is transferring wealth from the US State to bourgeois war profiteers) and the faction that has coalesced around Trump, whose most consistent motivation seems to be ripping the copper wiring out of the walls of the US Empire for their own personal corrupt profit. Similarly, the IRGC and Ansar Allah clearly have strong religious values and motivating factors, but it’s equally clear the Zionist’s project’s goal is to turn plunge the people they govern into the same hell the people of Libya and Syria have been suffering in, and the actions they have taken are fully explainable from the perspective of trying to avoid this occurring.

What are the religious factors you see driving the aggression from the US and Israeli side are and, do you think peace is possible without appeasing them?

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts, this was a great read and I again, really appreciate the longer form analysis.
