Very interesting!! Always seen these bars around but didn’t know that it was both delicious chocolate and trying to be somewhat ethical in the world of chocolate trade. Will have to try it sometime!

ManaBuilt@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why are podcasters/vloggers suddenly holding tiny mics?2·6 个月前I have to imagine this is the case for a decent chunk of people with those tiny mics, right? Sometimes the audio quality of the talker sounds way better than I would expect from essentially a lapel microphone, and there’s just a regular microphone out of frame.
Not going to lie the tiny mics are a pet peeve of mine like many others in this thread, but I can’t explain it well as to why haha.
Shout-out to Rao’s for actually not having a whole lot of sugar and being genuinely one of the best pasta sauces you can get in a jar. Add a little Tabasco sauce and red wine and let that simmer for an hour or so and it’s perfection.
I cannot get over how good the Metroid Prime menu theme is. It’s both chill vibes and an absolute banger at the same time.
ManaBuilt@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What are the bad patterns of Reddit to never repeat on Lemmy?1·3 年前Believe it or not, the context in which I saw FW, the person meant “fuck with”. It was a comment about a tattoo, and their response was “Honestly, I kinda fw it.”
ManaBuilt@lemmy.worldto Games@lemmy.world•What's your favorite game you never hear anybody talk about?English0·3 年前Oh man I remember that whole series was marketed as “the big” Halo-killer at the time, they were so confident they even had some million(?) dollar prize for whoever found some sort of secret in the game. Not sure if that ever actually happened or if it was just a marketing ploy.
But the game itself was fun, and I remember being able to dual wield rocket launchers and had space magic, so I was happy haha.
ManaBuilt@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What are the bad patterns of Reddit to never repeat on Lemmy?2·3 年前This is 100% old-man energy, but I dipped back over to reddit after a week or so and man did I forget how many completely random acronyms get thrown around there… FW, TIL, ELI5, FWIW, IANAL…
Don’t even get me started on ETA, which should mean “estimated time of arrival”, but has instead been used to mean “edit to add”, even though just putting EDIT means the same thing??
I see that kind of stuff a lot less here, and I’m assuming it’s a mix of older audience and smaller user base, but so far it’s been so much nicer actually understanding what everyone is saying here.
Yes! I think that’s such a great little feature. It feels so rare that a streaming platform does something that benefits the user experience that this felt particularly great to see implemented.
