i need to sell roughly 250 more copies of metahorror on steam to recoup costs 
(this would be no issue at all if valve didnt take a 30% cut PLUS purchases in the USA - the majority - take a further 30% on taxes, and the publisher gets a further 10%, meaning that in practice I get about 40-30% of my sales on steam.)

here on itchio 30% still goes to taxes, but that means 70% still goes to me. 

I'd need to sell about 150 copies on Itch.io to make the same money as 250 Steam sales.
