Hello! Thank you for playing. I'm not really sure what you mean by the wall jump doesn't respond well. Also, I know the art has differences, and I'm really sorry, I had to use a free asset because of time ): .

I don't know what to do after the first little fishing segment. I'm put against this robot, and then and I have no idea what to do! I'm just clicking Capture the fish, hoping it does something. And then a screen pops up saying I was terminated. And then I get put on the screen, saying 1 human was removed. I hope I'm not sounding like an idiot rn.
It's a very well-made game. I like that you have to use the prices to decide when to sell and the market to decide when to buy. My biggest critique is that it gets a little boring after a good while. I was definitely having fun at times, but I was also pretty bored at times. Overall, it's a nice, simple game that I liked, :D
Running this game made my laptop really hot lol.
The game itself was pretty cool. I was confused at times when playing. Also, is it just me, or does the score not go up? If it is a bug, that really confused me. Overall, I like the game. It looks cool, and the movement feels good.
My only critiques are the lack of audio, the boxes getting stuck, and the score not going up. I still don't know if the score is bugged or if I'm doing something wrong. I also wasn't expecting Unreal to be used. 0:
Good job on the game! :D
Hi!
I did do research and try to make the movement better😭. I tried to add coyote time, jump buffering, and even added a little custom gravity. Sorry if you thought it was too floaty and not grounded. I've never played Celeste before, and I know it's often praised for its movement, and I'm too broke to afford it.
Even though I did try to improve the player's time with the movement, it's obvious I didn't do a very good job. I am a very inexperienced game dev and can barely code! But don't worry, I try to stay away from AI. I'm glad you liked some of the art. I know there are a lot of flaws in the art and game.
Thank you for the feedback and for playing my game!
This is only like my 3rd game... ever? I am super thankful you liked anything.
If you thought the wall climb was weird, I'm sorry. You being able to spam and just climb the wall was intentional, or uh... When I was making it and implementing a ground check, it was too big, and you were able to climb stuff. I liked it and kept it 😬. I have never tried a platformer that can do something other than jumping before. Also, more animations are fair, because I'm more experienced with animating.
Thank you for playing my game, and thank you for leaving feedback. It's super useful for a little newbie game dev.
Hi! Thanks for even deciding to play my game! I'm glad you liked it even a little bit.
About the cons... Sorry about the stale idea. I'm basically a newborn when it comes to game dev. I've only made a handful of small and stinky projects in Unity, and this game is one of my better ones, which is quite sad, given the quality of the game anyway.
I know the pixel art is blurry and doesn't fit the character, but I couldn't find anything larger than 16x16 pixels. ):
Making my own would have taken the whole game jam. I'm sorry about that.
I'm sorry that you didn't have a better time playing.
I was aware of all of these when making the game. I couldn't find anything higher than 16x16 for the tile map, and I was really bummed out about that. Making my own would have taken me the whole duration of the jam as my art skills are pretty bad. I am still very new to Unity and game dev as a whole. I barely know anything D:
I also know about holding to jump longer, and I could have implemented it, but time was short. It would have been awesome sauce to have in.
Thank you for playing my game and leaving great feedback for me. Next time I do a game jam like this, I will remember your feedback.
