Thank you-- I'm glad you enjoyed the game, especially at max level.

This is a fun and surprisingly polished game for such a short time span.  The slot machine is an especially nice touch--  3 Godots for the win!

This is a fun and unique little arcade-style game.  The end fight is much harder than the rest of the game, but it was interesting..

This is a cute game-- I love the idea of changing states of water to progress.   I wish it would support controller!

My poor character must have died around 32,767 times, but it was a fun game with great presentation!

This is a sleek little puzzle game, and I could easily imagine players getting very into it.  (No universes were harmed in the making of this playthrough. ; ) )

It's fun to play these retro-style games that remind me of my childhood.  Also, thank you for supporting controller!

It's cool to see a game based on roller-skate diners-- I actually went to one of those as a child, and I loved it so much.

It's cool to see something that breaks the mould, something surreal, and a piece of art that is based on art.

Thank you; I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you.   I'm sure it indeed is how they feel.  I hope they make it back to their nests!

This is definitely the cutest game I played in the jam.  The music with elephant sounds is so lovely and immersive, as well.  I had trouble figuring out what to do, but I'm generally very bad at 3-d games..

This game is very hard.. at least for me.. I was very bad at it, until I got into a state where it seemed like I couldn't lose any health for a really long time.  I had so much fun playing out the game and seeing the chaos that unfolds.

Most of all, though, the music rocks most truthfully-- I love the false ending.  I would listen to that song when I'm not playing a game!  Well done.

I'm happy to hear that you tried out the higher levels-- and that you enjoyed it!  (p.s. I also like the Undertow pfp.)

I like that the frog does a flip when jumping, and I like that the name of the game contains the word "slick".

(For some reason, after dying many times, my fans ran like crazy, and the amount of memory used by the app went up so much that the game crashed.)

Thanks for the feedback.   I definitely plan to make the collection-losing aspect of the game more forgiving in any kind of real version of the game. =)

Thank you.   People who are kind of uncomfortable with platformers and want to get used to the controls (as I would!) are the reason I started the game out on one of a calm setting.. but I somehow think the chaos of a higher default setting may have been a good idea.

Thanks for the kind words.  I had hoped people would stick with it, to try to overcome the challenge..  Your suggestions are definitely in the plans for the game; I just didn't have enough time by the end of the week.

Thank you.   The snowstorm was the first mechanic that I added to the game (after the basics).. because I really wanted that part to be fun.

Thank you.   I'm glad someone mentioned the name!

Awesome!

Thank you for persevering, for writing such a great response, for posting your score, and, especially, for thinking of the plight of the raccoons. ; )

Thank you.   I actually think the higher difficulties are more fun, perhaps because they are so much more chaotic.

Thank you!   I always loved the slippery levels in platformers, so it just felt right to me.

Thank you for such a positive response..

The higher wind levels are definitely more fun, which is why I kind of wish I'd set the default level higher.  I had the thought that someone may want to learn the controls first.. but perhaps I could have ramped it up after a spell?

I do plan to further develop the game, and I definitely won't take away all of the acorns after a single fall.  That's just what I could do within the scope of the jam, to make it replayable.  I'm sure someone out there would accept the challenge of trying to get the highest score possible!

Thank you.  I'm glad someone looked at the info screens!  I do think this game would be really funny on a stream; I'd love to see that!

Thank you for giving me such a detailed response.

It's certainly easier to get to the end of the level on higher intensity levels, but score relies on getting acorns, which seems pretty hard.  =)  You're right that it's more funny.. and just fun.. to be like a flying squirrel in the storm.  I think of rage games as being frustrating in a funny way, like that, and it seemed like a good goal for the jam.  It is not my long-term vision for the game, but perhaps it could remain as a play mode?

Thank you so much.

Sorry about the stage music getting annoying.. hehe.. I need to put volume controls specific to the parts of the game, for sure.  I liked that song because some of the bell sounds reminded me of winter, for some reason, and the overall tone seemed pretty light.  In terms of finishing, definitely sprinting/dashing a lot can improve the jump distance by quite a bit.  There are a few other tricks that players have found, as well ... ; )

You're right that the level is easier to finish at higher settings.. but collecting lots of acorns, perhaps not. XD  I'm glad you enjoyed it, and that you found a trick to improve the experience.  Thank you!

This game was fun to play, even if I wasn't clear about what some of the stats really do.  I also wasn't able to unlock a move other than punch.  My fav thing is how cute the character (a little nosey gnome named Tophat) looks when going crazy with exercise.

I love love love this game!  The controls are a little rough, but I am truly impressed that you essentially wrote a full roguelike in the span of the jam.  Drawing and shooting the cards is on-point, in terms of flavour, and it is also one of the coolest mechanics I've seen in a while.  Dgee-raw!   (p.s. I have won the west. ; ) )

This game feels really polished for a jam game, and it looks (and controls) lovely, as well.

This game has a lot of style, and the leaderboard aspect is pretty advanced for a jam game!

This game is pretty advanced for a game jam game.  Well done!

I am so bad at this game!  I really like the quirky theme and retro art style.

I had fun sliding all over the landscape while trying to deliver pizzas in 30 minutes or less.  Given the premise, I found it especially funny that the phone screen is cracked.

Also, the snowy trees (and the snow in general) are pretty.

It was fun to bounce around like a pinball, even combining pinball with ducks and arcade action is quite original, and.. most of all.. the puns are top-notch!

Thank you.  I've definitely been inspired to power up the movement while advancing in level.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Is this usable for commercial and non-commercial games that are made with other engines, other than RPG Maker?  Thank you. =)
