Now this game was incredible. Coming from a background in filmmaking and having had the opportunity to collaborate with some truly talented storytellers in the film industry, I pay a lot of attention to pacing, atmosphere, and narrative structure; and this game absolutely nails those fundamentals.
The developer’s vision is clear and confident. The atmosphere is crafted with care, the tension builds naturally, and the horror elements land exactly where they should. The jump scares feel earned rather than cheap, which is something even big-budget projects often struggle to achieve.
Indie developers should be taking notes here. This is a strong example of how effective storytelling and smart design choices can elevate a project far beyond its scope.
I genuinely hope this game reaches its financial goals. I would love to see this expanded into a longer, more fully realized experience because the foundation here is outstanding.
