Yeah I definitely never thought to use it much just cause I was put off by the energy cost, though thinking about it I can see how that played out, can't believe I didn't realize this before the patch went up!

Beat the game again after the balance patch and it's definitely less stressful and less RNG-dependent, relaxing the scorium requirement and the store prices definitely helped with that, and though the difficulty dropped I feel it balances out with the difficulty modes already in the game, I'd probably soon join the brutal camp with how frequently I check up on this.

What's surprising to me is that I didn't like prospect at all and apparently from reading the balance patch it's actually meta-defining??

Played for about 3 5 hours! Still haven't tried all deck archetypes yet, at least from what I could see. It definitely has some juice in it, and for those 3 5 hours I definitely was locked in onto the game.

However, I felt like the game really lacks soft synergies, the cards felt either too flat or too isolated in their own groups, this especially blows because the game requires you to add a card after every fight, and if the card you add won't help with the main strategy your deck has, then it is junk waiting to be sold/sacrificed while it piles onto your hand each fight. It felt like there was also an abundance of cards that felt a little too weak and might require buffs. Though, take this with a grain of salt cause I only have half the cards unlocked and I'm not that good of a card player lol.

Because of the "3 cards only" rule, I felt like each card I play should matter, either setting up something big or trying to play my main cards that drives my deck's strategy, but because of the way draw is handled, you end up with weak cards piling in the hand and are forced to do weak/mediocre turns to get them out, this hurts especially for cards that puts things into your hand, seeking a card from your deck for example not only wastes 1 card play, but also gives you -1 draw next turn.

But that's about all the main criticisms I have for the game, it was pretty fun and I'll definitely be back at some point to spend another 3 5 hours or so.

That took longer than I thought but I've beaten it! (~3 hours)

loved it, played for about 1-2 hours, despite how simple it is compared to other games of the same genre (no relics, no upgrades apart from resources, no statuses, no enemies) it was still a lot of fun with the mechanics alone.

I beat the game using the wrench strategy, and though I only played for a short time it was immediate to me once I discovered the wrench that the game needs balancing, or a nerf towards that deck.

I think a big problem for the game is that the more "meta" a deck is, the more consistent it is to build it. Deck generates a lot of ore = more reshuffles + more bought cards = more stable + optimized deck = more consistent to build. At least for the wrench strategy this seems to be the case, and for someone who wants to play as flawless as possible, it becomes easier to gravitate towards that deck so replayability gets hurt imo.

This is kinda similar to the Watcher in Slay the Spire, because of how easy it is to go for the stance switching infinite, other strategies begin to pale in comparison, and it became a lot less fun than the other characters, where most strategies are viable, so long as the player picks the right choices.

Overall for a free game this is bloody solid <3

Oh hey thank you! Yeah you could clearly see I underestimated the time it would take me to make this game (I couldn't add the anime girls let alone sfx 🥹)

Oh woah!! I didn't think anyone would get all the way to level 6 let alone beat it 😅, thanks for the feedback! The enemies are a bit over-tuned because I didn't manage my time well. I'll definitely check your game out when I get the time too.

Which one 😭, thanks for playing btw!

Hah~ cha-OS! Interesting concept actually, I love the idea of having to manage everything in the chaos, reminds of those bomb defuser games.

This is actually super fun. I haven't played too many games like these, but I love the turn-based twist you placed on it as opposed to bullet hell-ish gameplay. Definitely see myself playing a completed version to pass time and slowly build up on hours played 😅

This is amazing my guy! I can't even comprehend how the visual effects work.

Thank you!! Yeah I planned for the player to have health rather than getting one shot and have a "push-back" effect, but I ran out of time ( ; w ;)

Thanks for playing! Yeah I wanted to add a speed up button and some manual interactions at some point but ran out of time. It would've been doable but I kept changing the game's idea too much and before I noticed, half the time was gone; and because of that some parts of the game feels incomplete.

Thanks! I saw someone mention easter on the discord and gave me the idea, I wished I could've done more patterns and egg variation but was low on time.

Yo thank you! I loved your game too, spent the most time on it by far.

Thanks for playing! Yeah I caught the bug that crashed it, too many hats is no problem now (i think)

Thank you so much! Yeah I did everything except for the music and SFX.

You got me with the brown camouflage egg, took me a bit to find that last one. I liked Pablo the most.

Great game with just a couple of mechanics! I love each puzzle and how nicely the difficulty ramps up as you progress, would have definitely kept playing if it had more levels.

This was so cute actually, made me smile!

awesome game op! Even with just the fans and launcher, you really showed how a few features could still be plenty fun
