No, sorry. No combat-focused bundles. If you look at any of my assets on itchio, you may see an image link near the top of the page if that asset is found in a bundle.

Hi there 👋

The Farmer Sprite System and Character Base are two different assets, as explained at the top of this page. The numbers *before* the filename are only used internally (by me), you can ignore them. All downloadable files are always the most up-to-date version.

Nope. Just the color palette you see in the preview images.

Technically, yes, but they are not specifically formatted for it. That means you won't be able to paint on autotile terrain like walls and floors. You'll need to place each tile individually.

Also, the tiles are 16x16 pixels on 512x512 sheets. So depending on the limitations of your version of RM, you may need to find a plugin or cut and paste tiles into a smaller sheet. You should do some research into using custom tilesets before picking this up.

That's awesome! Nice job 👏

All my tilesets use 16x16 tiles.

Yeah, you want this one 👍

"16-bit" is a reference to the art style.

yes, that's fine 👍 but it's a good idea to look at the license, just in case:

Yes, the Classic Mana Seed Bundle will unlock all downloads for the Character Base ☺️

Hi, thanks 🙏🏽

I do sometimes have options for limited non-exclusive commissions. you can find a link on this page.

we'll look into it for the next update, thanks!

Hi there 👋

The only thing that comes to mind is one of my older tilesets that has some ruined tile variation:

Hi, thanks!

1) You can credit me as Seliel the Shaper, but it's not required.

2) If you're creating a game engine that other people will use to make a game, you can't include any of my art. They will need to acquire it here from my page. Thanks for understanding 🙏🏽

There's a link to it on the product page: https://selieltheshaper.weebly.com/user-license.html

I plan to add more eventually, but right now the only other monster with a portrait is the mimic: https://seliel-the-shaper.itch.io/malevolent-mimic

There's more than that, and I can't put everything here in the comments. Send me an email and I will reply with the full text.

Does it say "you own this asset pack" with a download link at the top of the page?

maybe try the "i already paid for this" link if it's not there?

The license link seems to work fine for me 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for understanding 🙏🏽

No, please do not include my art in this project.

Hi! Thanks for being patient! This is the first I've heard about it. Not sure what happened to your previous comment or email.

I'm happy to give you access, but I can't give you a key through the comments! Can you try emailing me again? It's selieltheshaper at gmail. Please send from the email you made the purchase from, so I can confirm I have the right person.

Thanks!

I would imagine changing the names of source files would prove a bigger issue for many game engines and map editors.

Only front-facing.

Yeah, I might add that clarification, thanks 👍

Sorry, no. Redistribution is prohibited, even for assets I offer for free. They must acquire the assets from me, not from someone else. You can find the full user license here.

I'm glad you appreciate it 🤗

Yes, that includes my paid assets. I encourage you to read the Mana Seed User License before making any purchases or downloading any of my free samples.

Yes, i encourage you to do that! You should also read the Mana Seed user license, as it addresses exactly that question 👍

I do offer some non-exclusive commission options, but availability is limited. You can find a link at the bottom of the product description on this page, along with other relevant links.

Take a deep breath and try to calm yourself. I know there are a lot of words and pictures on each page, so i put a brief explanation at the top to help you understand.

The Farmer Sprite System (the one you bought) is intended for cozy farming sim style games. It has a lot of non-combat animations and a lot of outfits and hairstyles. It's not made with combat in mind, but plenty of devs use the farming animations for combat by combining the weapon sprites from this asset.

The Character Base (the asset on this page, which you haven't yet purchased) is an older asset with more general utility. It has some farming animations and some combat animations. Including explicit support for sword & shield, spear, and bow. However, it doesn't have many outfit options, and limited non-combat animations.

You own the Farmer Sprite System, so you can compare it to the free sample for the Character Base (available for download on this page), which has the full sword and shield animations, and decide what you want to do. If you're desperate for the spears, then you can buy this pack. But I personally think the Farmer Sprite System has more to offer with its outfit and hairstyle variety.

According to my records, it looks like you purchased the Farmer Sprite System, which is a different asset on a different page. You can find that here. It will say something like "you own this, download now" at the top of the page. If you scroll down on that page, you'll find your previous question in the comments.

yes, it sure does!

"This asset also includes a 4-frame peeking eye animation if you want to provide observant players with a hint that they're facing a mimic. Or you can just use the non-mimic chest variant (open and closed frames) for regular treasures."

If you read the product description on a lot of my tilesets, you'll find that many of them come with sample maps made in Tiled. Those sample Tiled maps are also in this package. But you shouldn't buy it if you're not using Unity, because this asset is a Unity package. You should be looking at something like this bundle, or this one, instead.

Your exact methods will be engine dependent. I recommend you look up tutorials on building a paper doll system for your given game engine (Unity, Godot, GMS, etc).

You need to add the tools and weapons sprites as separate layers on the appropriate frames. Consult the animation guide for some help.

Yes, absolutely! But they're not natively supported, so you may need to resize/rearrange tiles, or use a plugin to support custom tilesets.

These sprites are not animated.

Yes, you may edit them. Please refer to the full license if you have any questions about usage rights.

Sorry but although I've been working on portraits for a while, a portrait maker asset is way too far out to give you any information. You're welcome to join the Discord (link on this page), but it's not something I talk about because it's not a currently active asset.
