Syun can really be frustrating, right? you can’t help but feel bad for the guy while also wanting to grab him by the shoulders and shake him until he understands he is loved 😭 ALSO IM SO GLAD SOMEONE NOTICED THAT LINE… little by little we’ll see Syun doing more Komi-isms and showing off that part of himself to his new friends! You also noticed how duality really works which I’m really glad about - Komi’s positivity isn’t always the best choice. I took a lot of care to keep the ‘correct choices’ balanced in the full game as I don’t want to give off the feeling that Syun’s way of thinking is always incorrect 🙂‍↕️

(Lux-Pain!! 💝 Finally someone else who knows it! There are at least half a dozen of us, I say…. 😩 That game is actually what initially inspired me to become a psychologist, so I’d say playing it was literally life-changing. It’s a shame the translation is so terrible lmao… I’m still holding out hope one of the 4 people in the fandom will make a retranslation patch😅)

I’m really glad the game found you when it did, and that it helped you feel a little less alone with these thoughts. You don’t need to apologize for sharing any of this. It didn’t feel like “too much”; it felt like someone speaking carefully and sincerely about where they are. I’m especially grateful you trusted me with something so personal, including how grief has shaped your work.

I’m honored the game could lift a bit of that weight, even temporarily. If it gave you permission to feel, to cry, or to keep going just a little longer, then it did what I hoped it would do. =)

Hi! Kie’s route is the True Route, a.k.a the final route that closes out the game and gives everyone closure, unlocked after finishing all routes in full. Since the full game is still in development and needs funding support, it would be impossible to have it in the demo, as it would include major spoilers to the rest of the game and wouldn’t make much sense to y’all. It would be like someone starting a book from the last chapter.

I’m working on an extended free update to the demo that will add tons of new scenes with Kie and give lots of hints on what his route will be like =)
