Thank you so much! I’m really glad to hear that you interpreted the bullet time as a QTE, I was scared people might not make the connection lol.

(1 edit)

thats fair, i was focusing way more on the gameplay than on audio or animation. For the QTE I tried to make it so the bullet time mechanic would fit the role, since a traditional QTE wouldn’t have fit a 2d platformer. Thanks for playing! :)

Great game! I think the typing mechanic is really interesting and definitely forces you to lock in more than if it were just the arrow keys. Typing as a quicktime event is really great idea. :)

These are some of the most polished QTEs that I’ve seen in the jam so far. Love the WarioWare style gameplay and the avatar that changes every so often. Great job!

This game was fun and I think the shift from rhythm game to top-down crawler was really silly (in a good way!). I also jumped out of my chair and started cry-laughing with my friend when I got ending 3 lol

This is probably the game I had the most fun playing simply because of how simple the premise is. The game loop is really easy to get into, and I loved talking to the cop guy between rounds. Only thing is there were some traffic stops that stayed after each round which I couldn’t interact with. Overall a very good game :).

This game was really cute! loved the sign guy and the art. I didn’t read the description so I didn’t know what the space symbol meant at first, but after that it was pretty fun. great job!

Having a leaderboard was definitely a good addition for this game. It’s easy to get into and is actually really fun. great job!

I really enjoy the time-slowing mechanic and love the puzzle-like layout. The skeleton fights are also a nice change of pace from the top-down movement. great work!

Loved this entry and think its a really fun step forward from round 1! the art is super cute and the new features match the original vibe. great work :)

aw thanks so much! i tried to improve a lot of shortcomings from round 1 so i’m really glad you enjoyed :)

thank you!!

Sorry about that! they’re just supposed to be interactables. in round 2 i’ll change them to something more basic. thanks so much for playing!

thanks so much! :)

haha, yeah there’s a lot of cheese I didn’t notice until the deadline :’). You can also go through one ways by using the hat and throwing knife. Im glad you enjoyed it!

aw tysm!

tysm! :)

thank you!

haha tysm!

thanks so much! I’m not the biggest fan of horror but I loved your game :)

aw tysm!

Thanks! I appreciate it :)

Thank you so much!! Some of your times are way better than mine, lol. what combo did you use?

Ooh that could be a good idea, having the controls in the description is a bit clunky so I might try this out. thanks so much!

I appreciate that :)

thank you!!

Sorry about that, the crystal’s meant to be an interactable. The goal is to collect the cheese, then return to the door. Thanks for letting me know though, I’ll try to make the goal more clear in the second round!

thank you!

Thanks so much! I was originally planning for you to change the color of the mouse, but I ended up running out of time :’). I’m very glad you enjoyed it!

this game has crazy potential and I think the concept could make for fun puzzles. really excited to where this goes in round 2

the costumes are all super cute! also the ui is very clean. great job :)

Really loved the idea of enhancing your enemies as well - that's a cool way of dealing with power creep while adding strategy! The art was charming as well. Great job!

I loved mixing and matching the different weapons and outfits, and the stats are pretty intuitive! I can totally see different shaped characters beating levels differently based on the different collision boxes. Excited to see where this goes!
