I'd be honored to have you steal the screwdriver QTE.

Ah yes, the fnaf style of stress inducing nightmare fuel gameplay. Great submission! Although, I feel like the door wasn't being reduced no matter what I did.

I really appreciate a simple 3D platformer. The movement feels great and the multifunctional aspect is really cool!

The QTE is super satisfying! I loved every moment I got to run around slashing my way through everything. Unfortunately, I feel the dialogue dragged the game to a slog. I still really enjoyed my time playing the submission, but for a fast paced platformer, I feel the dialogue should be optional.

I think the reload mechanic could support an entire game on its own if done well. I really like the concept!

I really enjoyed the art/models! They have such a welcoming embrace which clashed nicely with the harshness of the storm surrounding you. It's very simple gameplay wise so I wish there was more to do, but nitpicking is the death of fun. Great work!

I am made of bricks how did I forget to add the puzzle setups in the game.

There was supposed to be notes around the map that formed an answer for the keypads around the map

There is no universe where that bug should exist and yet it manifested 20m before the deadline

I'm not a fan of random movement but this has started to change my mind

Everything felt really polished and unlike a lot of games I didn't have any trouble with visual clarity!

I almost found the small board harder than the normal board lol

The QTEs are really well made! I love how each of them feel and the devastation they cause. My only real complaint is that there isn't much to do outside of spam a button every now and then. Regardless, very well crafted!

I'm 90% sure I played every level twice and had a FANTASTIC time doing so.

I've always loved the mixing of 2D and 3D so the visuals work well.

The difficulty was fair. I wish there were some harder levels sprinkled in with one already held in the game but that's being more nitpicky than I should be.

Overall I really enjoyed this game. Great job!

I managed to make it to the barn enemy before running out of lives about 4 times. It's a fun idea but it ultimately left me wishing I could dash normally rather than wanting more of the unique mechanic.

I really like this style of customization. Being able to pick more than simple aesthetic changes for your character definitely makes it feel very unique.

I don't think anyone HASN'T gotten stuck on it. I really thought "enter" would be 1 of 2 choices to try, but clearly I was wrong. Thanks for playing!

This rocks as a standalone project, and is EVEN BETTER considering it's a jam submission. I love every single choice, every outcome, every litter bit of world-building, and the theme of creating yourself through action is wicked (that's what I thought was going on anyway). This is definitely my favorite submission so far. Superb.

Awesome. This is everything I wanted and more out of an entry for this round. Fantastic work!

I'll definitely speed up and make it easier to go through dialogue if I make it round 2. I figured it'd be fine for round 1, but clearly a lot of people think otherwise :,). Thanks for playing!

One of the few jam platformers I actually enjoyed 100%ing. Very fun! I do wish you could customize the character a bit more, but it is what it is. Good job!

I really REALLY like this approach to a character customizer. It feels like its own little art program. I genuinely would love to see how this could be turned into gameplay in a future round. Great entry!

I think this game is one of my personal favorites so far! All the provided customizations allow for a very nice variety and the ability to modify the individual position and rotation of the extra objects in a wicked touch. Hope this makes it to round 2. Nice work!

The experience of every single option you choose being negative whilst you slowly wither and wilt out in space is really something to behold. Genuinely hoping for this to make it to Round 2 so I can play it more. Fantastic job!

Wicked. I wish there was a way to rotate or otherwise get a full 360 look at your final creation, but the torso menu works well enough. Great work!

dead rat my beloved <3

This was such a fun little game! I love slimes and all the customizations felt very slime-core if that makes any sense. Good job!

I thought about using the goal is a similar manner, so it's good see someone else did it better than I would've lol. I would love to see this game continued in a further round. Great work!

I intended to add a color picker but forgot lol. And I probably should've just made clicking work as a "continue" control key. Guess I was too busy writing vague statements to think of user ease. Hope you enjoyed regardless.

If by a stroke of superb luck I manage to squeeze into round 2, then yes.

👍

I fully understand that. The problem is that I don't 100% know that that's why my game is gone. I am asking for clarification so I can know to find another jam in the future. If they had stated it in the rules, I wouldn't have tried to dodge the theme.

I'm not trying to start drama. I'm not trying to be rude. And I'm not trying to be unreasonable.

All I want to know is that my game got taken down because it didn't follow the theme. Otherwise it deleting itself via some random glitch, or me doing something stupid and deleting it is still on the table as an option.

I get that, but please tell me why MINI-GOLF is still here then? If all the non-theme adhering games where gone, I wouldn't be asking questions. There is still 6 games with no soccer up. That's why I'm asking questions. Mind you, I'm not upset about it. Still simply confused

Literally a single sentence would help <3

My submission is gone?

If the the answer as to why is "it didn't follow the theme",  I feel you could've left the game alone. 25% of the scoring is based on that topic so it's not like it'll win + I don't see anywhere on the front page saying "Theme is Mandatory", so all around a very confusing takedown.

If I was incorrect on my assumption can you clarify further? I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just confused.

Nah you're fine, we need more fearless devs in this world lol. I must say, that art is fantastic! So you did a good job in my humble opinion.

I, like many it seems, have very poor timing and thus suck at this game. Very fun for the few correct timings I hit!

if only I had someone willing to play a random game jam game with me...

Super satisfying and energetic gameplay loop! The amount of polish is superb for a Jam submission as well. Fantastic work!

A short and sweet little game? My favorite!

The sound of eating people might be the most beautiful sound I've ever heard. Thank you for blessing us with this game.
