Nintendo DS support is already there and it works on my side with melonDS: select the melonDS executable, select the ROMs folder, choose Nintendo DS if auto-detect does not pick the platform type (works on my side), then scan.
Can you tell me exactly what you selected in each field?
Emulator app:
ROMs / games folder:
Platform selected:
melonDS install type: native package, AppImage, Flatpak, Snap, or something else?
The launcher currently scans `.nds` and `.dsi` for Nintendo DS.
Also, please share the screenshots
Hey everyone!
After a months of intense coding, tweaking animations, and endless bug hunting, Gloss Launcher is finally available in Early Access!
Frutiger Gloss Launcher is a media launcher for games, music, and video, built around nostalgic console-menu vibes, animated backgrounds, and gamepad-friendly couch navigation. Almost fully customizable! Vibrant color themes included!
Adding Console Games
Open Settings, go to Import Games, then Emulator Games.
Choose the emulator app first. For example DuckStation, PCSX2, RPCS3, Xenia, Dolphin, PPSSPP, Cemu, or another supported emulator.
Choose the ROMs / games folder. This should be the folder where your console games are stored.
Leave Platform on auto-detect unless the launcher asks you to choose manually.
Use Start in folder only if your emulator needs a custom working directory. Most users can leave it empty.
Press Find games.
If any result is marked with !, select it and fix the game title or cover search text.
Press Save changes to add the found games to the launcher.
Adding PC Games
Open Settings, go to Import Games, then PC Games.
In Game executables, choose a game .exe or .lnk file.
Each selected executable is added to the queue. You can add multiple PC games one by one before saving.
Select a queued game if you want to edit its title or SteamGridDB cover search text.
Press Save changes to add the queued games to the launcher.
For PC games, adding the exact executable or shortcut is usually better than scanning a whole folder.
Music favorites are saved from the built-in browser.
Open Spotify or YouTube Music inside the launcher, then open the exact item you want to save. This can be a single track, an album, a playlist, or another supported music page.
After opening the item, press the Favorites star button in the browser bar. The launcher will detect what kind of page is currently open and save it to the correct favorites category automatically.
For best results, open the dedicated page for the track, album, or playlist before pressing Favorites. If you are just browsing a list, the launcher may not know which exact item you meant.
SteamGridDB Cover Guide
SteamGridDB is used for automatic game cover search.
Open Settings, go to the game library or cover settings section, and paste your SteamGridDB API key into the SteamGridDB field. You can get the key from your SteamGridDB account settings after signing in on steamgriddb.com.
After the key is saved, the launcher can search and download covers automatically when games are added to the library. If the wrong cover is found, open the cover picker for that game with C on keyboard, or Xbox Y / PlayStation Triangle on gamepad, then choose a different result.
If a game has a strange file name or the search does not find the right artwork, edit the game title or cover search text in the library settings, then search again.

Thank you! And I hope for your recovery. I know this feeling, but please keep in mind that everything changes and it's possible to work it out in a positive way for you. Nothing is permanent! Take care of yourself. And don't play this kind of games when you are in a bad state! I don't want to do any harm...
Sink into the cold, suffocating loneliness and the rot of hopelessness.
