Thank you so much!! :D

Thank you! I put a lot of effort tuning the shader to look how I remember it from all those years ago. I'm glad it was fun for you :D

Great styling and theme- but unfortunately I wasn't able to get any meaningful movement no matter how hard I tried... Wonderful concept for a retro style game, but the control scheme missed the mark.

Sans jumpscare :D

Not bad at all! :D

Spamming the S key makes this super easy. You'd probably want to limit the input to make it more challenging / skilled.

Good stuff! Cool game :D

Excellently executed :D

I adore your art style, super well done!

The atmosphere is very well done

Very cute!

So incredibly simple, but works nicely

Peak!

Interesting and cute art style

What the hell this is insanely well done??

Absolute cinema, thoroughly enjoyable and a great start to your Game Jams! The first game I've tested so far that is retro in the mechanical sense too (where you move in steps rather than completely smoothly). Well done!

This game is awesome! Very much gives the old 1997 vibe :D

Absolutely wonderful style!

Super pleased to hear you enjoyed it!

Thank you for the kind feedback! :D

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it! I was hesitant about the amount of chromatic aberation so I appreciate the feedback to confirm my suspicions! :)

Thank you for playing! I already have some ideas for other power-ups and I'll possibly implement them soon :D
I'll rate your game later when I'm home from work :)

Very cool game, reminds me of those older games I used to play in maths class. The readability of some elements, like text, is a bit hard due to your outline shader and having anti-aliasing on your text anyway. Overall, a nice experience

This game's control scheme is what made it a bit difficult. I think even if it was Q and E to rotate yourself and your engines were locked at full throttle, it would have been better. I couldn't get past the second wave after a few attempts...

The difficulty scales quite nicely, very comfortable game that I enjoyed :)

Ohh this one is super cool, I love it! Nicely executed :D

Super interesting concept! As someone who isn't super familiar with colour mixing, it would take me a good few attempts to get a decent score. I failed mostly because I kept forgetting which colours mixed correctly, and then losing a life. Nice game though!

Thank you for the feedback! It seems to be a minor balancing issue, to the extent that the game is a little hard. It is, though, definitely possible to get to the later stage of the game still through some friendly testing before the deadline!

Glad you liked the CRT effects :D

Cute game, I like the few colours used - it works really well. I do think there is a small collision issue, as I failed a few times for just being close to the spikes and not actually touching them, but overall nice experience!

Thank you so much, and good score too! When you get a bit further into the game, with some more upgrades, you will see how chaotic and *fun* it can truly be :D

Depth was one of the aims for this project, so I'm glad it was realised appropriately! But there's more to come (at a later date!!)

Thank you so much <3

Ah, the auto advancing happens specifically when you have 0 energy, thought that would be a quality of life feature- but maybe not 🤔I can play around with it later to try and get it feeling better - also to balance the game some more hahaha

Thank you!

Thank you so much! There is much more planned for the game when we get some more time! And honestly, I surprised myself too. This is our second MicroJam, and I wanted to be a bit more adventurous! :D

Woah! You mean to say... I'M NOT TERRIBLE AT PUZZLES? :D

I'm naturally bad at puzzles but great game otherwise! 😆

Lovely iteration on the fishing mini-game! My line casted upwards towards the sky once, not sure if that is supposed to be possible! But fun nevertheless! Well done everyone

Very simple, executed well - apart from the bugs. But that's okay for the amount of time we get for this jam :D

The lack of UI made this game a bit confusing... But okay game overall!
