definitely a fun entry into the jam, had a good time with it! shame about the performance issues and having to warp, but i can see something pretty fun and engaging with the mashup.

this is another hell yea project from the facet devs. love the personality you guys bring to the jam, it's very grungey and interesting. :3  a great return to the bigmode jam, here's hoping they make up for the technical difficulties from 23!

lmao, when people were asking me what kind of game i wanted this to be, i literally said something like "i want this game to be about doing an incredble amount of violence"

definitely a fun little game, i may have corner camped, but the feedback and the gameplay loop is simple and engaging. great to play it with you, great entry! :3

love the idea of a bunch of physics bullshit being your obstacles, i would suggest a speedrun timer but i feel like it would be kinda random LOL.  awesome job you guys did!

ahhhh! sorry, you can skip those with Escape or Start! i wanted to have a prompt but all the UI stuff was done at the last second. and yeah the amount that got done was a consequence of an intense crunch cycle lmao. my body wouldn't let me sleep a full eight, it just kept getting right back up and onto the grind. thanks so much for playing!

thank you! yeah i'm glad people like our reads, i was pitched down a bit for the intro but bvssic backed it with cinematic music and did the read for the end.

every input that you use can be held down, but for the dash you'll want to hold it to full charge for the most dramatic effect. at heat 3 you get a high kick that clears out the pillars and at heat 4 you get a snap that does an AOE that obliterates all the enemies around you. the jump is an attack that cuts through a lot of enemies and keeps you safe from the pigs on the ground. the pigs can basically only be taken out with either dash or low kick and stab you on contact. your heat level is also your health, and an ice spear being stuck in you means you took damage.

haha, it's funny, bc one of my jam partners said about the same, but i've never played things like devil daggers or hyper demon but that's what it gets compared to! my audio team was goated, BVSSIC has a lot of audio engineering expertise and HC1 provided some good starting samples that he processed. so for instance, we took advantage of sidechaining in the godot audio bus to make the audio duck underneath high-impact sounds like the snap attack or the dash.

the high kick was my way of clearing a path through the pillars yea! but we're gonna be revisiting the moveset. thank you for giving it a shot!

great entry at the jam, it's definitely one of the most "slick" in at least one interpretation. once you get the hang of it it feels pretty great to do a good banana run. the laugh track was such a good decision, but yeah maybe have a few different versions in a randomizer! 🤡

wonderful little puzzle platformer that has a lot of charm. i love a good microsoft SAM cutscene.
