Yes, that is a good idea 👻👻

I do plan to add a system for editing / customizing parts of Ashley’s prompt, especially for personality and speaking style.

I just need to be careful with how I implement it first.

Ashley’s prompt is currently very compact because I’m trying to keep input costs low while still making her personality, actions, tags, memory behavior, and tool usage work correctly.

So I need to review which parts can safely be editable without breaking her actions or making the LLM stop following the required tags.

But yes, custom personality / prompt settings are something I want to add.

Hi ! 👻👻

thank you for reporting all of this.

I checked the issues you mentioned, especially the [object PointerEvent] bug in Pet / minimized mode and the screen / browser behavior.

I’m preparing a new release today to fix those problems.

The next update should include fixes for:

  • The Pet mode input bug showing [object PointerEvent]
  • Screen mode spamming / repeated messages
  • Better behavior when Ashley uses screen context
  • Web search / browser action issues after the last update

About CDP / browser control, I agree it still needs more polishing. Ashley can open and close programs more reliably than she can control every browser case right now, so I’ll keep improving that part step by step.

Thank you again for testing Ashley so deeply. Your reports are very useful. ❤️❤️

Thank you for the feedback! 👻👻

Yes, I understand what you mean about Gemini-specific settings. I’ll add special Gemini configuration options today or tomorrow, so users can have more control over how Gemini behaves with Ashley, within what the provider allows.

I also just published the latest update with:

  • A new option to clear Ashley’s history/data more easily
  • Fixes/improvements for taste detection, because some LLMs were not saving tastes correctly

About the “instant” screen mode, it should not spam every 5–10 seconds in a way that feels annoying. I’ll check that behavior and tune it better, or add clearer controls for how often Ashley looks at the screen.

Thank you again for testing and reporting these things. It really helps me improve Ashley quickly.

Hi! 👻👻

For the preview video, I did not use GPT-4.1-mini. I used Gemini Flash Lite. It is cheap and good enough for Ashley’s actions and basic personality, although stronger models can give better personality and more natural emotional behavior.

And yes, for Gemini I used the normal/raw model with its default safety/censorship settings, not a special uncensored version.

Today I’m planning to add a cleaner option to fully clear Ashley’s history/data, and also fix/improve taste detection for different LLMs.

Do you have any other recommendations or features you would like to see in the app? ❤️❤️

Thank you so much for getting the full version and supporting Ashley! ❤️❤️👻

Right now there is not a single button to completely reset everything at once 😭  , but I agree that it should exist. I’ll add a full clear / reset history option in the next patch, hopefully today or tomorrow.

For now, you can clear most of it manually:

  • Go to Memories → Facts and use Clear all memories
  • In History, you can delete the entries you don’t want
  • In Tastes, you can remove saved tastes with the X button

I’m also preparing a patch to improve this, including:

  • A proper option to clear the history / memory more easily
  • A fix for cases where some LLMs do not save tastes correctly

Thank you again for supporting Ashley. It really helps me keep improving her and buying her windows code signing !!

Thank you so much for the kind words and for supporting Ashley! 👻

I’m really happy to hear that you like her concept and that she works well with OpenRouter for you. The fact that she remembers what you like and can play the playlists you use while gaming is exactly the kind of companion experience I want Ashley to grow into.

And yes, I completely understand the concern about the permissions. Ashley is not doing anything malicious, but because she can interact with the desktop, browser, local services, voice, and optional PC actions, Windows can show warnings or permission prompts. I’m already working on making this feel safer and less confusing.

In the latest update, I moved more of Ashley’s local behavior to a localhost-only setup, which should reduce some unnecessary permission prompts. I also want to get proper code signing in the future so Windows can recognize Ashley more clearly.

About Pet Mode, thank you for reporting that. I just worked on a fix for messages being cut off, so the latest version should improve that. If you still see the issue after updating, please let me know and I’ll keep checking it.

Thank you again for buying Ashley and supporting the project. It really means a lot, especially while Ashley is still growing.

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback 😊

I’m really glad the Edit and Refresh features are useful, and I’m also very happy to hear that Ashley works great with your local Gemma setup. That information helps a lot.

About the issues:

  • The repeated YouTube links are not intended, so I’ll look into improving how Ashley handles and varies links.
  • The Refresh message appearing twice sounds like a bug. It should replace/regenerate the response, not keep both messages in the conversation.
  • Right-click support for spell checking and copy/paste is a good suggestion, and I’ll add it to my list.
  • I’ll also check the Desktop Pet mode issue where the last message gets cut off.

Thank you again for testing Ashley and taking the time to write this. Feedback like this is extremely useful and helps me improve her step by step.

For now, I’m releasing a new version with a fix for the dead link in the license purchase button. After that, I’ll look into all of these issues 👍

Thank you for the recommendations! 👌

Hey, whasup !

That sounds like Ashley is opening Brave through the normal Windows browser handler, not through Modern Browser Mode.

The video is actually playing correctly, but Brave does not always expose the tab state in a way Ashley can verify. So Ashley thinks the action failed, even though it worked 😭

I already fixed the false error for the fallback path, and I’ll release an update soon 👍.

For the most reliable music and browser control, I recommend enabling Modern Browser Mode ( Full settings - modern brower mode - on - can take a little moment )  and letting Ashley launch the browser herself. You can also launch it through the desktop shortcut, so Ashley can detect and control the browser more reliably.
