Spectrum Invaders is an attempt at a Space Invaders style shooter programmed in BASIC, it is slow! but nevertheless it is playable in its own fun little way.

An Alien race has invaded Planet Earth draining its supply of water, you are in control of aircraft AL7 your mission is to collect as many of the remaining water pools left.

GREEN DOUGHNUTSA short platform game where you, as Miner Willy have to consume 25 Green doughnuts to complete the game.

Programmed in BASIC on The Spectrum 

Thank you, i have never played Kokotoni Wilf, infact it is the first time i have heard of it, so i just watched it on YouTube i see the resemblance in the movement.

Miner Willy enters the World of Jet-Pac, although not quite as fast as the classic Jet-Pac as it is programmed in BASIC, nevertheless it is still playable and fun.  Your mission is to  collect the rocket parts to build your rocket and then blast off!!!

The BASIC Basement

A Sinclair BASIC game inspired by the classic ATIC ATAC.

All saves on the RGL Spectrum automatically and only save as a TAP file, if a different file format is required you can use an emulator like FUSE to save as a different format.

The Tonsil Monster has invaded a motorway, steer your car to avoid the enemy fire, which are tonsil stones!

You are the resident ghost of the Spectrum cemetery which is under attack by the wicked witch of the west your only defence is the  boundary hedge, patrol the hedging and shoot the pumpkins.

POOR MAN'S FROGGER

A frogger style game, avoid the red platforms and land on the magenta platforms, aim of the game is to get the fly!  To complete the game feed 15 frogs.

MUNCH TIME

You've only one life to eat the dots . Watch  the time!!! Avoid centipedes and their poop. GOOD LUCK!!!

MOUNTAIN RESCUE

Save 10 people from a mountain terrain area.

Richard,  firstly I am so sorry,  yes you are correct, my mistake I shall re-upload the original file, secondly,  I completely forgot that the original author had included extra TAP files which gave access to notes, but, no excuses I shall action this and make it available again.  

ahhh, I see what's happen here.  The correction has been made you just need to re-download the game from the main home page again as the corrected TAP file has replaced the original, basically ignore the development log as there was an issue with it, I've deleted it now.

Featured on the AnimatedAL YouTube channel,  Learning BASIC.   Frank Walker, who was inspired by the channel made a game and as he doesn't have his own itch account has happily given permission for it to be made available for FREE download on my account for all to enjoy.

ZX/INVASION

I have always loved the style of the old ZX80 / 81 games, that black and white appearance with simple no fuss graphics, hence why I called this ZX/INVASION, my little way of showing some love for those old machines!
