Autopilot messed up and put me quite a bit away from the station while I was also low on power. Ran out of fuel trying to reverse course, made an electrolyzer to convert some water to fuel, and that of course drained the rest of my power. So I hand cranked the battery enough to get coasting back towards the station and EVENTUALLY made it close enough to EVA into the station, buy some batteries, and power up so I could dock properly and get some solar panels

10/10 experience

Hi, good that you managed to overcome the situation, in most playthroghs I ran out of h2 in the middle of space so it is a familiar feeling. The autopilot is not a journey planner yet so you have to do manual adjustments since it can have +-1s error and at 10km/s that means 10km error plus forgetting to activate overshoot prevention can lead to dangerous situations. Not to mention a 2degree of-course direction can translate to hundreds of km away if not corrected early.
