How does your game meet GBJam's theme?

Definitely more of a modern take. but I liked the idea of a survivors-like one button game. The player movement felt a bit too slow at times and collided into oncoming obstacles with much opportunity to avoid them.
A rabbit without a leg and a weapon — what could possibly go wrong :-). I find the death sound really funny, did you record it yourself? Nice game.
Nice. Art was really good/ readable and gameplay felt inline for these type of games. For the power ups, I did not feel incentives to increased my luck unless all three options were negative effects.
Gruesome! An enjoyable spin on the theme with some charmingly gnarly character designs. Good work!
amazing game!!! love the artstyle

Doesn't feel like a Game Boy game but it might be the best Flappy Bird clone! Great sound and art!
I feel like this needed to play more like r-type/defender to really have the gameboy feels. looks great though, and I love the missing leg! fun interpretation of the theme
That was insane. I enjoyed the card system!
The use of theme was very unique never thought I would be playing a rabbit using it's blood to jet around. Good work.
Got to 28, I really like the card system and how its tied into the theme. good work!
loved the art, sound design, and music. cool take on the theme, too :)
