I love this! Such a great little game, love all the details. I really appreciate the seamless transition from the tutorial screen to the gameplay. You even have an animated results screen! So good! Googly eyes on the roomba are a nice touch. ヽ(͡◕ ͜ʖ ͡◕)ノ
Also, the stuff under the rug cracked me up!
Really nice game, it reminds me a bit of Tasty Planet (I don't know if that was an inspiration or not). Also I really liked the song you used, its very chill. Only thing is it only played once, maybe you could get it to loop?
Another suggestion I have is to maybe have some items you're supposed to clean (like dust bunnies, crumbs etc) and others you aren't suppose to clean (like toys). I feel that would add a lot more challenge to the game, because right now its just be patient and try to cover the whole screen. Having to avoid certain items would require a lot more skill.
interesting, the loop bugged but I thought I fixed it
And yes I am totally with you at the "things that shouldn't be cleaned". I had that idea too, but didn't implemented it because deadline was close, so I left it like it was since I know my games always die when I wanna do last hour changes.
Still I will post-jam patch it like this :D
Great little game, reminds me of powewashing simulator. I sure hope that family doesnt need their funiture, cause i didnt leave them any lol. only suggestion I could possibly make is to make it so that the inaccessable areas that cannot be cleaned dont contribute to the percentage cleaned at the end. Otherwise, i had great fun!
Nah family is fine 🙂
And yes, I can tell you reaching 100% is possible but the solution for it wasn't really my best idea so I need to fix it afterwards. I can't leave anybody unsatisfied at 99% 🥲
Thanks for your feedback!
5 stars all around. Great game, very polished! I loved the derpy eyes.
everything is better with googly eyes 👀
Really fun little game, I cleaned it as much as i could and loved hoovering up the table and couch ahaha. My only complaint was that I couldn't hoover into the corners which really hurt my soul, 99% cleaned in the end :').
But honestly really impressive and polished for a 36 hour game, cool lil scoring screen too, nice job!
thank you! And I will fix the 100% afterwards, I can't let your soul be broken 😭
Yea, I somehow needed to prove something too myself, but working/focusing on it for 36 h straight wasn't the plan xD but I found my developer spirit again!
Swallowing that couch was so satisfying . Great entry for the theme!
Yea, he is a really dedicated robot :3
A great powerwash-simulator like cleaning game. Wonderful graphics paired with good music and cool Easter eggs. One thing I would have liked is that you add a boost, sprint dash or simmilar mechanic and make it so the total points add up to a round number like 10000 just because its more satisfying and I guess that is one of the greatest points of your game too, the satisfaction.
OHHhh i never thought about this "round number = satisfaction". I was putting in a lot of thinking into the calculation part of the result, but never had one thought about the way the player will perceive the numbers. And having round numbers is indeed so much more satisfying o.o
Thank you for this feedback, it will help me a lot in the future to think more of the perception of the game <3
Very fun, it's great, good handling of physics, visually warm. Nice work, I read all your words, and the panic at the end made me laugh ^^ Indeed, increasing the speed a little even without boost would make it perfect ^^
Thank you :D i am gonna take notes on focusing more on balancing parameters in future projects!
Really fun but the movement felt kinda slow. 5 stars!
Thanks for pointing it out, i updated the description since i forgot to add the info in the tutorial, that you gain a permanent speed boost when cleaning up an object depending on the percentage of cleaned floor xD
Anyways thanks for your feedback! <3
