Ok so I might have gotten so sucked into this that I almost forgot I had to rate the game lol. I absolutely love how many different enemies you managed to create, all with their own unique attacks and behaviours (the mushrooms on the first level are my fav). I also love how many recipes there are and that you do have to return to a previous level to get ingredients; they aren't just forgotten about and moved on from. Love the music and how it changes from area to area, and the sound design for the monsters are so clever. I haven't finished the game yet, but I'll come back and complete it!

Wow!! I had a lot of fun playing this, can't believe it was such a complete game for such a short jam period. Really great work, can't imagine how much it took to design all those enemy types! And the different waves on the boss dragon. Great job!

Amazing game, the gameplay was extremely fun and i kept doing multiple runs. One nitpick was just wishing there was a map cause i kept backtracking a lot. Otherwise super enjoyable.

Took me a bit, but I finally beat the game! This was really fun and looks great! The sound design was quite good, too! I especially liked the little pancake creatures in level 2, their sound is satisfying lol. The key bindings could be improved though as I found it kind of awkward to hit Q or J when using the arrow keys. Maybe   change the attack from Q to  G? Also, it took me way too long to discover I could scroll through the recipes with the scroll wheel 😅 Overall had a great time with this one!  Wonderful job!

Got the Dragon :) Its cool that every enemy is so unique.

great gameplay, great ending, I love the narrative here

Enemies having different attacks add a lot of life to the game, they tend to feel less than just sprites getting closer

The music is awesome as well, really fits the moment and the environment

great game in general!!!!

Thank you! We’re really glad you enjoyed the game, and especially the enemy variety and the music. Those took a lot of time lol. Thanks for playing!

Really solid work here! The first floor is really big, never found a way to floor 2 but I got every first floor recipe and made multiple dishes for two level ups! Also woo, two goblins cookin' in one gamejam!

We're glad that you enjoyed the game. It is always nice to see a fellow goblin chef in the field

That was pretty fun. I didn't get that leaving the dungeon didn't mean you give up but return to your kitchen, so I did a few fruitless rotations down there, but overall fun game and the music was nice to listen to. Also found no bugs while playing.

Thank you! Yeah we probably should have made the return to the shop button a bit more clear on the UI. Glad you liked the music and had fun!
