is a way for students to join, working either with a team or solo. The 48-hour game jam allows them to build their skills while also working under pressure. It's an activity where they can be creative, learn something new, experiment with their ideas, and showcase the game they made within 48 hours.
Participants: The game jam will be open to all CIIT students.
Team Sizing: For participants in the team category, teams are limited to up to 5 members.
Registration: All participants must officially register during the Registration Period (June 22 - June 29). Only registered students are eligible to submit an entry and win prizes.
Time Limit: All development will be within the allotted 48-hour window. (June 29, 4:00pm - July 1, 4:00pm)
Theme: Will be announced via an announcement video which will be released on CIIT & UnPAUSE platforms at the allotted game jam start time. All submissions must incorporate or interpret the theme.
Tools & Engines: Participants may use any game engine, framework, or platform so long as it can be compiled / released in a way that aligns with the submission guidelines.
Pre-made Assets: Usage of pre-made assets are allowed, provided that the participants have the legal right/license to use them. All pre-made assets must be properly credited and disclosed both in the game submissions form, and resulting game pages.
Team Categories: The event will be split into Solo and Team categories. Both categories will have their own grand prize.
AI Usage: Use of Generative AI for Audio/Visual assets will be strictly disallowed.
