Greetings and Welcome to my first ever hosted game jam: Turtley in Love!

Whether you're hoping to make a gift for your partner, to vent after a breakup, to give yourself some self-love, or to just have fun, this jam is for you! 

This jam runs for the week right before Valentine's Day, with voting ending on the Tuesday afterwards. 

You can vote on a theme until January 31st, 2026, with this google form!

Entries will be ranked on three criteria:

• Theme: How well does the game fit the theme?
• Fun: How much did you enjoy the game?
• Function: How well does the game work?

Rules:

• No Real People:  While the idea of gifting someone a game proclaiming your love in endearing,  please don't put them or other people you know IRL in your game
• No Generative AI/Cite your Resources: Get to know and appreciate your coding/art skills! Or, show your appreciation for other creators! There's tons of Creative Commons and Public Domain assets you can use and credit in your game!
• No NSFW: Sorry to burst any bubbles! As a first-time host, I'd like to figure out just Jam logistics and not content logistics this time. Maybe next time!
• No Changes during the Ranking period: No worries, you'll be able to make changes again once voting is over!
