This highly collectible novelty compact was made in the early 1950s by British company Pygmalion. This spherical, gold tone compact is know as The Globe. This model is engraved with bands of flowers and stripes, and has intitials to the cartouche on the top. The push-in clasp opens the lid revealing the circular mirror.
