Doing a full body dynamic warm up followed by glute activation exercises and core engagement exercises are an ABSOLUTE MUST prior to jumping into a lower body workout! Hingeing at the hips and taking a longer stride backwards with your foot will cause the glutes to lengthen more at the bottom of the rep.
