The Tubular armchair with leather seat is an iconic piece of modern design, based on the original design of the S34 armchair by Dutch architect and designer Mart Stam. The construction of the chair makes use of bent steel tubes to create organic shapes and to give the chair a striking appearance. The seat, backrest and armrests are upholstered in leather. The chair is in original condition and the structure and leather seat have been thoroughly cleaned.
