Miniature Glazed Redware Jug, NE, possibly Bristol County, MA, early/mid 19th c., with rounded foot & ribbed handle, cream-colored slip, daubs of manganese & clear lead glaze. Attractive green, orange, cream & brown coloration. Light wear to rim & handle. Small spots & thin separations where glaze separated on jug's surface. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection.
