In just four years and across three albums, Dark Minimal Project has forged a path of growing artistic depth, both on stage and in their compositions.
If their second release, Ghost of Modern Times, showcased technical mastery, the new album Pleasure Is A Sin plunges deeper into a world of shadows. Produced and mixed in collaboration with Peter Rainman, the duo explores uncharted terrain, crafting a soundscape where every track forms part of a larger, haunting fresco. Voices shift between desperate whispers and raw outbursts of rage, carried by tormented, immersive sound design.
A modern reinterpretation of John Foxx evokes the concrete solitude of the city—its quiet emptiness amidst the crowd. Here, pleasure and sin entwine in a hypnotic dance, where every fleeting moment feels like a dazzling descent into darkness.

Dark Minimal Project – Pleasure Is A Sin
In nur vier Jahren und über drei Alben hinweg hat Dark Minimal Project eine stetig wachsende künstlerische Tiefe entwickelt – sowohl auf der Bühne als auch in den Kompositionen.
Während das zweite Album Ghost of Modern Times die technische Meisterschaft unter Beweis stellte, taucht Pleasure Is A Sin noch tiefer in die Schatten ein. Gemeinsam mit Peter Rainman an Produktion und Mix beschreitet das Duo neue Wege und erschafft ein Klangbild, in dem jeder Track Teil eines größeren, düsteren Freskos ist. Stimmen schwanken zwischen verzweifelten Beschwörungen und ungebändigten Ausbrüchen, getragen von einem Sounddesign voller innerer Zerrissenheit.
Eine modernisierte Coverversion von John Foxx erinnert an die Betonmelancholie der Großstadt – an ihre Stille mitten im Gewimmel. Hier verweben sich Lust und Sünde zu einem hypnotischen Tanz, in dem jeder Moment wie ein glänzender Sturz in die Dunkelheit wirkt.
